Gravity Manipulation, Shadow Control, And Short Range Energy Beams!

Ever since you were a little kid you have had dreams where you can fly. In all of those dreams you do it by projecting a glow around your hands and lifting off the ground, trailing a thin stream of light from each hand for a short distance as you speed through the sky like a plane. During the next few days you discovered that you could actually do this, but also so much more!

For one thing, you could manipulate gravity, making things heavier or lighter, or even making gravity cease to apply in an area with a radius of about 10 feet, putting everything in zero-g.

You also could control shadows, making them sculpt themselves like a physical substance according to your will, and even use them as a short range teleportation medium, stepping into one shadow and out of another about 10 yards away or less.

You also learned that as in some of your dreams your beams of light could do other things than let you fly if directed differently, setting things on fire, or melting steel like an arc welder or cutter, it's range about 15 inches.

This was not the last of it though, you now, though no more resistant to damage than before, regenerated from grievous injuries almost instantly, though you refused to test if that included amputations.

Not only that, you were not alone in having developed powers, each of your children had as well! (Though no two of you quite matched.)
