You wonder who drove as you know Tom doesn't have a car or valid driver's license.

You stay out of sight and make plans to make Tom pay for his intrusion. You have home field advantage as you spent more time here since you were six than you have at home. You have been coming to this house since you can remember as it was your great great Uncle Vince's before your Uncle Jim moved in when you were six. He also has remote reset switches so he doesn't have to go to the main circuit panel in the basement if a circuit is overloaded. The back door is easy to access on purpose as all the years it was a rental the other rooms are more secured.
