On a 7-9, there are some sassy young things distracting the clerk

You pad into the little shoe store in your orange hospital socks. There's a nice young man in striped pants and black shirt wearing a vest with a shoehorn sticking out of one pocket. Though the star attraction here seems to be ladies' shoes. Well, maybe high-priced-ladies-of-the-evening's shoes. You feel a little warm in your cheeks looking at the racy displays.

You've definitely caught the young man's eye, but there a few young ladies who he's been helping. Three of them, sitting together. They've got him on the hop, trying out different styles and colors, sending him back for more, and having him adjust the fit. They get up one at a time and strut up and down the floor in front of the fitting chairs. The other two point and laugh at the gal trying out the shoes, and then the next one gets up and does it. The young man seems to be enjoying all this. Though he's keeping a straight face through all their sassing, you see a bump right there in the front of his striped pants. Whether it's from touching up on their feet as he fits them or whether it's the swish of their short little skirts as they walk up and down, you don't know.

Maybe you can tell the girls something to move them along.

"Oh gals, look at you all, those shoes you have are beautiful," you say. "Don't they make you feel like you're the prettiest girl on earth with everyone falling at your feet? You-all should buy those right now and do some hot trotting for each other."

If this doesn't work, you may have to give them some other ideas to distract them from the young man you need to get you some nice pretty looking shoes -- well, sexy looking, you must confess -- so you can show off to your honeybear when he gets home.
