Try to help the creature

Getting out your pocket knife, you cut a few strips from the sleeve of your shirt. Cautiously, you move forward and begin binding the wound with the strips of cloth, the creature watching you with complete calm the entire time. After you finish., you look closer at what you assume to be an alien. You notice a strange metallic collar around its neck, with a blinking blue light coming from its center.
The alien reached up with one hand, tugging at the collar, then looks over at you.

“I say, a little help with the inhibitor on my neck would be appreciated.” the alien says in perfect english

You step back in surprise, staring down at the alien.
