Run his errands

John decided to run his errands. Even though he didn't need to do them today, it would be nice once they were finished. He had to do some grocery shopping and pay his rent. He looked at the clock and saw it was still an hour before anyone would be at the office. He decided to buy some groceries first.

After an hour, he was home and had finished putting away his groceries. Now, it was time to pay the rent. He pulled out his checkbook and wrote the rent check. He walked down to the office and waited as one of the management employees was busy with a couple. He took the time to look at the couple.
