Does dinner go well?
Catching up and losing track of time
Tony had always had nice taste. The best alcohol at his parties, the best car, the best... Best not to keep following that line of thought at the moment. Diana pushed back a flood of memories as she walked into the cool night and took in the sight of the Tony's black car. She wasn't an expert when it came to car brands, but she recognized the Cadillac logo. Tony opened his door and stepped out, wrapping her in a warm hug that sent fire racing through her.
"It's been too long Diana!"
"Oh? I remember us meeting about a week ago," she said with a laugh that sounded a lot more confident than she felt.
"I'm surprised you remember it at all," Tony countered with a smirk. She couldn't deny that he had her on that one.
"This is a beautiful car," she said as he walked her around to the passenger side and opened the door for her.
"It's a CT5. Got it last year, so it's still a ways off from being fully paid for."
Diana took the time to admire the black and red leather seats. Knowing him, Tony had those custom made. He had favored dark color schemes back in college, and it seemed that hadn't changed. After he had carefully closed the door so that he wouldn't hurt her, Tony had made his way back to the drivers side and slid into the seat with practiced ease.
"So, I had plans for dinner. Do you trust me?"
"I spent a good bit of my college life trusting you, so I guess I'm used to it."
Diana saw the hungry look in his eyes at the mention of their college days. It was if he was looking straight through her, and at the girl she had been. So adventurous and wild, but also completely submissive to his every whim. In that moment, Diana realized that deep down, she was still that young woman at heart. Her love for her husband was very real and meant the world to her, but she had denied that primal need to be owned and used for so long. How had she not noticed that burning in her soul until now?
"Trusting me brought out a bit of your wild side. Be careful how far you trust me. I can't promise that I'm any better now than I was then." That damn smirk of his was still there, but his voice was deep and husky now. Diana could tell that it took some real effort on his part for Tony to pull his gaze away from her and towards the road. The restaurant that he took her to was a very fancy Italian place that she had been dying to try, but getting in was always difficult because of how popular the place was. Tony had to park near the end of the lot, but made her wait so that he could open her door and walk her in. Holding onto his arm, she felt like a trophy that he was bringing to show off. Her little black dress had been a good choice for this outing. Although they hadn't discussed dress code, Tony himself was in a black suit that matched her perfectly.
"I hope we can get in," Diana mused out loud, mostly to herself.
"Don't worry, I've already handled everything."
That didn't surprise her at all. Tony had a way with people and almost always got what he wanted. He had come from a pretty well off family. They weren't millionaires, but they were certainly better off than her family had been. Between that and Tony's natural charisma, doors just seemed to open for him. As they neared the front door, a young hostess noticed them and stepped away from the line of people that she had been helping.
"Good to see you again Mr. Callum. We've prepared your usual spot."
"Thank you Cindy. I appreciate the help on such short notice."
"It was our pleasure Sir."
Cindy called another hostess over to take her spot, and led Diana and Tony into the restaurant. The interior was what you would expect from an authentic Italian restaurant, with all the delicious smells of spices and sauces being prepared drifting from the kitchen. Tony's "Usual spot" was a circular booth near the back of the restaurant. It was dimly lit and had a candle burning by the wall. Two cold glasses of water, and a bottle of wine on ice were waiting for them.
"You even had the wine ready. You are an angel Cindy."
"You always eat alone, so we were a bit surprised when you said you needed your booth for a date. The chef picked out the wine for you."
Tony slipped the young woman some money, along with expressing his appreciation again before Cindy left to let the waitress and chef know that Tony had arrived with his date. Diana felt that something was off. Tony wasn't the type to ever eat his dinners alone. Back in college, he always had a woman on his arm, or was out with his normal group of guy friends. Hearing that he came here alone except for today made her feel special, but also curious what had changed over the years.
What hadn't changed was how dominant he was. The waitress was barely at the table before Tony ordered for them both. He remembered her tastes from college and quickly ordered things that he knew she would enjoy, having an appetizer, salad, and meal planned for her. Diana knew that she shouldn't let him lead her around so easily, but at the same time, she had missed it. Jack was her equal, her partner. Tony had been her Master, Owner, whatever he had desired to be for her. Surrendering to him in college had been so easy and it had felt so fulfilling.
As Tony poured her wine, they began to catch up. Mostly small talk at first, "How are your parents," "What led you to your current job," and similar things. Slowly they settled into their meal and began to open up. Tony still kept in touch with most of their old friends, but hadn't seem them in person for a few years. Mikey for example had married his college girlfriend, but eventually she divorced him and took their daughter to stay with her family. Trey had gone on to open a tech company, making new gadgets, writing coding for apps, and even building some of the newest gaming computers that were on the market. Samantha had come out as bisexual and ran off with a girl from Brazil, only occasionally replying to messages from the old friend group.
Then the conversation turned to her, and how she had met and married Jack. Diana told Tony about how they met, and how much she loved and respected Jack. He was her partner.
"Partner huh? Well, I'm glad you're happy Diana. I was honestly worried about you after how things ended."
"Really? What had you so worried?"
"You always had a wild side. You wanted to explore and play, just completely lose yourself in the moment. When we broke up, I worried that you wouldn't be happy in a normal relationship. Going from what we had to settling down and getting married is such a big change and I'm proud of you for making it happen."
"O-oh... I... Thank you. Really."
Now Diana just felt embarrassed. She had come here BECAUSE a normal relationship wasn't enough. In her defense, the life she had with Tony hadn't been right either, but that didn't change the point that his worries for her hadn't been entirely wrong. She took a drink of wine to calm her nerves and saw Tony looking worried.
"Whoa there, let's not repeat the party incident."
"Actually, that's why I'm here."
"Didn't you say that Jack was ok," Tony asked.
"I did, and he is. The truth is... I came clean with him about everything. My past, you, how I used to be, all of it. He was a bit shocked, but had guessed that something was off because of my behavior."
"What exactly did you tell him?"
"Like I said, everything. He knows that you basically owned me and used me however you liked. That you passed me around to your friends, were rough and domineering, and that I loved every moment of it."
"I can't imagine how he felt about that... Are you sure we should be meeting like this? Diana, I've changed, but not enough that I can say I'm not the person from back then."
Diana was quiet for a moment. She took a deep breathe before answering.
"I thought I had changed too. That I could just stop being that person. The truth is that after I saw you again, something inside me broke. I love my husband and I don't want the way we are together to change, but I realized that I still needed to be that person that I was when I dated you. I... Still need you."
Tony looked as shocked as Jack had when she confessed her past to him. Diana tried to study his face, but couldn't quite read what he was thinking. Once Tony noticed what she was doing, he followed her lead and took a big drink of wine before giving her that dangerously sexy smirk of his.
"I'm... A little confused. What are you hoping for Diana? I thought we were just here to catch up, but now I feel like you want to ask me something and just haven't worked up the nerve yet."
Then he did the thing from college that always made her body go hot and made her thighs wet for him. He lowered his voice, narrowed his eyes, and spoke in a way that made her feel like she was at the end of his leash.
"What is it that you want Kitten?"
"I want you back. I don't want to leave my husband, but I know now that I need you in my life. With him I can be a loving and equal partner. I need that, I need to feel safe and cared for. But on the other hand I need you. I need you to own me, make me submit and use me."
"And Jack is ok with that kind of arrangement?"
"He wants to try. He thought it was hot that we kissed..."
When Tony laughed, it caught her completely off guard. He suddenly seemed more relaxed, more confident that earlier. He checked his watch and sighed. Diana didn't wear a watch, but she quickly pulled out her phone and gasped. How was it so late? Three hours had flown by and she hadn't reached out to Jack at all!
"Come on, we need to get you home," Tony said, and she could see a new fire burning in his eyes as he looked at her.
