Once Roxie has vanished inside, you return to the log by the fire to sit and think about just what is going on. It is then that you realize that you don't have enough firewood to get you through the night. There's only about a half hour of sunlight left, so if you're going to keep warm tonight, you'll have to get the wood now.

You shiver as you consider venturing out into the woods. Something strange happened to Roxie out there. You have no desire to have that happen to you. After all, you did spend a good deal of cash on your sub-zero sleeping bag. If worse came to worst, you could fairly comfortably just crawl into your bag and make an early night of it.
