Does Hank look, or do they go in?
Just go in.
Convinced by his wife that peeking into the van would be unwelcome, Hank turned away. "Looks like there's a light on in our kitchen," he said. "Maybe Lil's up."
They rolled their luggage to the front door and entered their home for the first time in days.
Veevee sniffed the air.
"Pizza," Hank said.
"No, besides that," she said. "Huh. Something else."
