She hesitates

Ari shook her head, a conflicted expression on her flushed face. “No, Jake, I can't... This isn't right. I'm with Joe.” Despite her words, her body remained pliant beneath him, betraying her true desires.

Jake's expression softened, his grip on her wrists gentling. “I understand, Ari. Your loyalty is admirable.” He leaned down, brushing a surprisingly tender kiss to her forehead. “But surely there's no harm in helping me out a little? Just to take the edge off?”
