Chapter 31 by The Smutsketeer The Smutsketeer

What's next?

Fast forward a few months

When you woke up one morning you realised that three months had passed since you'd asked Sophie to marry you. To her chagrin she still didn't have a baby bump, but you didn't really mind. You had been worried about her having a child at her age, but with none of your seed taking, your worries had been put to rest for now. That didn't mean your sex stopped being amazing, though. She still took plenty of your loads right in her womb, her ass, or down her throat. She had pretty much gotten addicted to it. After your customary early morning fuck and breakfast, Sophie smiled at you.

"Hm?" you asked.

"I love you" she said.

"And I you" you replied. With that out of the way, you went to the map and looked at it, like you had every day after you'd gotten settled in.

"One more dig" Sophie said.

"Do you think we'll get lucky again?" you asked.

"Unlikely. Our find was the proverbial one in a million" she said, leaning her head on your shoulder. Putting an arm around her waist you smiled and nodded.

"Think we should buy lottery tickets when we get to the airport?" you asked. Sophie laughed and smiled.

"I'm pretty sure all the fame will get us a lot of money too, honey" she assured you, nuzzling your neck.

"We'll have to see when we get back" you said.

Going back came another month later. You called Yiannis on your satellite phone and true to his word he was there a few hours later. You smiled at Sophie as you watched him approach. "We're going home" you said.

"We are" Sophie said. "Back home to your family and fame and fortune."

You smiled. "I'd love that" you told her. Squeezing her hand you watched the father and his son approach in their little boat. A little later they docked at the wooden pier and you could begin loading your gear on it.

"How did it go, Dr. Wilson?" Yiannis asked.

"Pretty well" Sophie replied. "We found a few trinkets."

"A few trinkets for all those months you spent here?" Yiannis questioned, more to himself than to the two of you. You had decided to keep the real find a secret, which you would bring to your embassy when you were back in Athens. That way you would be assured nobody could catch wind of it and you would be assured that things would be safe. The last thing you wanted was to get robbed of your haul. You felt a little bad about lying to this kindly fisherman but this was bigger than your conscience.

Later that day when you finally got to the embassy you were dead on your feet. You got in, showed your passports, and asked to speak to the consul. When you explained why, the man at the desk hustled and got his boss quickly.

"Dr. Wilson, mister Doe, what can I do for you?" the consul asked after you were ushered into his office.

"Consul, we found a big treasure at our dig" Sophie said, not caring for any preliminary talks. The two of you were way too tired for that. She handed the consul all your paperwork. He skimmed through it then nodded.

"This seems to be in order" the consul said. "Where is the treasure?" he asked. He was a tall man, a little shorter than you, with greying hair and distinguished bearing. He could've been your dad. You inwardly smirked. Even a dad living in a foreign country would have been better than your dad. With a smile Sophie produced the box and opened it after putting it on the consul's desk. The man's jaw dropped.

"I have never seen anything like it" he admitted.

You smiled at Sophie, who took your hand and squeezed it.

"Here is all the proper documentation" Sophie added, producing another binder filled with pictures and notes proving that you had found it and that you were not smugglers of some sort. "We found it after the earthquake some months ago."

The consul looked at your fiancée. "You kept it hidden that long?" he asked.

"We were hoping for more" Sophie admitted.

"What is your role here, mister Doe?" the consul asked.

"I'm Dr. Wilson's assistant and fiancé" you replied.

"Really now?" he asked. You nodded.

"I asked her on the dig" you said. The consul smiled briefly then turned serious again.

"You realise that I can't just let you go with this, right?" he said. "In case it turns out to be stolen?"

"We do. But at the same time, this is my career. Hopefully John's too. I hate to cast aspersions but can you assure us that we will get to publish this find?" Sophie asked.

The consul nodded. "You have my word, Dr. Wilson."
