Flipping my phone open, I see a text message from Beth.

"Hey bro, glad you've finally made it here. We're gonna have a lot of fun just like the old days. One of my friends is having a small get together tomorrow night and I want you to come with me. I won't take no for an answer."

Just like always, Beth is already looking out for me. Knowing she would hound me until I said yes, I responded right away saying it sounded like a lot of fun. In truth, I was having a lot of anxiety. There would probably be cute girls there and I freeze up around them. My sister is the only girl I am able to talk to without making an ass out of my self. Thinking about it, I decide that I would never find a girlfriend if I am not able to talk to women. This party is going to be a perfect time to meet girls and at the very least practice chatting them up.

Eyes feeling heavy, I fall asleep.
