A voice from within my own mind, yet booming from the heavens

"Greetings, John, I am the physical manifestation Abyss. I know you're confused now, but fret not. You are not only safe, but the one in control."

Just as the Abyss finished its sentence, our surroundings changed to a garden, with a portal displaying the whole universe in the dead center.

As you conjure up words, you spit out, "One minute I was at my home and now this? What's happening?!?"

"I have been watching you for some time now, young man. But I've also been watching your future. You are true of heart, and that is why I confide in you the powers of the Abyss, the ability to shape time and space as you please. All I ask of you is that you return here whenever this sanctuary is in danger. That portal you see, takes many forms, but do not let it decieve you, it is the point at which all of reality was created. Without that portal, the dimensions and universe will cease to exist, you will cease to exist, and anything that ever did or would have will simply disappear."

Quite the revelation, you imagine, "But if I can control time and space, what danger could this portal possibly be in?"

"There are forces beyond even my reach, beyond our existence. But for now, rejoice, for you are a reborn man, the first to exist both on your mortal plane and this Abyssmal one."

The voice fades away, leaving you with many questions, yet a single thought, "If this is real, what should I do?"
