The young couple

As I moved towards the couple, they slipped away into the trees. I didn't want to attract attention with too much noise, so I was some way behind them. As I neared where they had entered the woods, I couldn't see them.

Moving slowly into the woods, I wondered if this was worth the effort. The woods were surprisingly dark and dense, with no obvious track forward. Just as I was about to give up, I heard a faint rustle off to one side, behind a thick mass of undergrowth.

Edging quietly around, I found the couple.
