Chapter 27

More explorations...
Jedi Knight For A Day
Having explored much of the Jedi Temple, there was one final experience that I yearned for before embarking on my journey into space. And that was to wield a lightsaber. It was the iconic weapon of the Jedi, and I was eager to swing one around.
However, I wondered about the flesh-burning risk of a weapon like that, even in this dream world. Though my physical body was safe in my bed, the immersive nature of this lucid dream made the risks feel very real. Would the laser hurt me if it were to cut me? I wasn’t a fan of that, so I wanted to avoid that possibility.
So, I willed for my body to be impervious to lightsaber damage. Only my clothes would have any burn marks while I would only feel a slight sting. A full-on blow would bounce off of me. With this precaution in place, I could wield the weapon without fear of injury. If I did accidentally swing the blade the wrong way and swipe it across my own body, it would just bounce off without too much trouble.
In my travels, I found myself in a large, empty chamber within the temple, the perfect place to practice. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and polished stone floors. There was a large window showing the city in the background as well. I then willed for a lightsaber to appear in my hand. It would look simple with mostly silver and a little black. The blade would be a simple blue as well. I didn’t want to try designing my own lightsaber just yet. I might do that at another point, but for now I just wanted to use one.
It appeared in my hand, and that childlike excitement came back in full ****. I looked at the weapon and felt a grin grow across my face. Oh, the number of times I pretended to swing around a lightsaber as a kid. And now here I was, in a Dreamworld where I could do exactly that. But here it felt so real.
I held the hilt out away from me and pressed the button to ignite the blade. A line of blue light extended from the hilt with the iconic sound that accompanied it. The polished stone floor reflected the soft glow of the lightsaber. The blue blade hummed to life, its vibrant color casting an ethereal light on the walls around me.
I felt almost reverent as I looked at the light of the blade. The afterimage moved in my vision, and I had to look away after a moment. I gave the blade a couple tentative practice swings. The sound of the blade moving through the air was exactly as I remembered it. The vibrating sound that all kids and fans of Star Wars copied as they pretended to be Jedi.
I wondered if I should test the blade against my body to see if it really wouldn’t cut me. I thought it through and decided it was probably for the best to do it now, than to make an accidental swing and find out the hard way.
I raised my hand and gingerly brought my pinky finger to the blue blade. I could feel the heat of it and almost lost my nerve. But I needed to keep my mind strong and focused. This touched on something I had thought about before. When I woke up here in the Dreamworld for the second time and learned how to alter things. It was through the feelings of fear, faith, and memory of how reality works that I was able to learn to change my dream’s reality. If I accidentally swung this blade at myself, and in that moment thought I was about to feel great pain and decapitation, then my mind might push that onto this dream reality.
I needed to make sure that never happened. I needed to be able to use a weapon in this Dreamworld without fear.
So, I pressed my finger into the light. I felt a sting...
...but then resistance.
My pinky finger went no further than the edge of the blade. And the blade did not cut me.
I sighed in relief. I pressed another finger, and another, then held the blade with my whole hand. The stinging sensation felt mildly uncomfortable, but I was able to hold the blue light.
I let it go and brought the blade down to my leg and tapped it. The clothing singed and I willed it back to normal. I looked up and willed a log of wood to appear in midair, and I sliced it. The log was split in two with burn marks down its cut middle. I willed the wood to disappear.
Okay, I was ready to practice.
With a deep breath, I took a stance, the blade moving through the air with a satisfying hum. I started with basic movements, swinging the lightsaber in controlled arcs as I grew accustomed to its light weight and balance. It really was a lightly weighted weapon, the hilt being the only thing with any weight.
I wasn’t sure what I was doing but I felt incredible.
As I gained confidence, I experimented with more complex maneuvers, imagining myself in the heat of battle against unseen foes. The lightsaber responded to my every command, its blade a blur of blue light as I spun and struck. The room echoed with the sound of the weapon, the hum of the blade reverberating off the walls.
I took a break after a while.
As I stood there feeling good but a little tired, I wondered if I could use this world to learn to fight. Sure, it would be with this dream body and not my real one, but the memories could be useful, right?
Then I thought about what I’d do in a situation where I’d need to deflect blaster bolts in this world. Swinging the blade was all well and good, but I didn’t have the **** or the reflexes of a Jedi.
But then I got thinking.
Could I...?
Could I will my mind to learn?
Instantly?
That thought was a suddenly compelling idea.
Could I learn things here? And quickly?
I stood there and frowned in thought.
Could I will my mind to learn how to use a lightsaber?
What would that do to my mind?
I remembered waking up that first time after being in the Dreamworld. My head was aching pretty badly for most of the morning. If I did something to my own mind, would it be worse? Could it be fatal?
Or maybe there was a better way to go about this.
Could I instead just let the Dreamworld guide my motions? Like the ****?
That might be the better option here. I’d still learn through osmosis. Was that the right way to use that word? No idea. Basically, I’d still learn to use the lightsaber because I was doing it through my own body and muscle memory.
But wait. This was my dream body...
Okay, my mind would just remember the swings. But that might be enough.
My mind made up, I willed for the Dreamworld to help guide my combat actions. I willed it to guide me in learning to use a lightsaber. I willed it to guide me in deflecting blaster fire.
Now, hopefully that worked. Because now I was going to really practice and train.
I got into position and... let the “****” flow through me as I took a stance. I didn’t know the names of any lightsaber forms but hopefully that didn’t matter. I swung my blade.
The air vibrated.
I swung again. I swung to the side. I cut diagonally to the other side.
The blue blade swung faster and faster, and I lost track of time.
I practiced for what felt like hours, losing myself in the rhythm of the lightsaber's dance. As I swung, I began to feel like I was actually dancing in a way. Like I was placing my steps to the rhythm of some kind of song. I felt an odd sort of focus, like I knew how to use this weapon. Like I had used it before. My mind felt floaty even as it also felt sharp while I struck imaginary enemies.
After some time, my mind came back to itself, and my practice came to an end. I lowered the blue lightsaber. My mind came out of the strange focus it had been captive to, and I looked around the room. I was still alone, and the light outside had shifted somewhat. I looked at the commlink on my wrist and saw that a couple hours had passed me by.
I shook my head and turned the lightsaber off. I had fulfilled a childhood dream, wielding a lightsaber in the hallowed halls of the Jedi Temple. I couldn’t help but smile at that fact.
I clipped the saber hilt to a metal loop on my belt and really felt like a Jedi in that moment.
With this final experience complete, I was ready to embark on the next phase of my adventure: finding a ship and taking to the stars. Space awaited and I was just as eager to see it as I was to use a lightsaber.
I left that room behind and walked down the hall in search of the hanger.
As I walked through the halls of the temple, I couldn’t shake something from my mind.
Even though I had willed the Dreamworld to guide my actions, when I had swung the lightsaber, the blade had cut through the air with precision and grace, and I couldn't shake the feeling that it had done more than that.
It could have just been my imagination, but my mind really did feel... odd, at the time. It was as if the Dream decided to affect my mind even though I had only willed it to affect my actions.
Or did I will the **** into existence when I made this Star Wars world?
Or was it just my own mind going along with what I wanted in this Dreamworld? In this realm, where belief shaped reality, it was difficult to know where the line was. The idea that the **** could be real here, guiding my actions was both exciting and worrying.
But I didn’t mistake it. My mind felt... something.
A serenity I hadn’t felt before.
I felt the lightsaber clipped on my belt and smiled at the thought that I even had one. As I walked down the hall, my mind once again wondered about the limits of this lucid dreaming ability. Just how far did my influence extend, and what other wonders could I bring to life with my imagination?
I shook my head. I could ask those questions later after I had my fun.
I activated my commlink, the device beeping softly as it displayed holographic directions. To my pleasant surprise, the map indicated that a ship was ready for launch in the temple's hangar. A smile spread across my face as I quickened my pace, following the glowing path that led me to another side of the temple.
The corridors echoed with the sound of my footsteps, the anticipation coursing through my veins. A number of corridors and hallways later, I approached the hangar and could hear the hum of engines and the distant clatter of machinery filling the air. The doors slid open, revealing a bustling scene with a few ships as the backdrop.
Droids and female mechanics worked on ships both large and small. The landing pads were less than half full. The main walkway was mostly clear of any activity, but there were some storage containers sitting around.
I walked through the large hanger and stared at the cool futuristic technology. There were starfighters that I imagined were personal ships for some of the Jedi. Further in the landing pads got a bit larger, holding ships that seemed big enough to hold about eight to ten people. They were probably similar to the clone drop ships that could take someone to a larger ship in orbit.
I made it to the end of the hanger and finally saw something that was big enough to hold a full crew. It probably even had sleeping quarters onboard.
Before me stood a sleek starship, its hull gleaming under the hangar's bright lights. Technicians and crew members moved with purpose, performing final checks and ensuring the vessel was ready for launch. The sight was awe-inspiring. I gaped at the sight, another childhood dream coming true.
I willed for my commlink to show me the name and classification of the ship.
The hologram interface came alive and revealed the name.
KSE-NY7 Concordant Whisper. Yacht-Class Personnel Transport. Registry JDV-Concordant Whisper. Hull Number JDV-117.
Wow.
I had no idea what most of that meant. Sounded... official though.
I looked around at the female technicians and female Jedi walking through the hanger. Other ships were being prepped for launch with destinations unknown. I walked towards the ship my commlink directed me to. I could see women in uniforms pulling out nozzles and tubes from a couple places in the ship's hull. Another couple had just closed a panel and sealed it shut.
Some women in a different uniform were walking up the entry ramp and I followed. As I stepped onto the ramp leading into the ship, I felt shudders of excitement. I was about to go into space! I would see the stars and the planet from space!
This experience was something that no Disney ride could ever compare to.
As I stepped onto the starship, the hum of activity enveloped me. The crew moved with purpose; each member focused on their tasks as they prepared for launch. The interior of the ship was a blend of sleek technology and functional design.
I counted four non-Jedi personnel, an astro-mech and a protocol droid.
I noticed two women in Jedi robes, both aliens, one Mirialan and a Togruta. Their cute youthful faces tried to appear calm and serene, but I could sense a little bit of excitement from them.
In walked two other Jedi, likely their Masters. They were two human women looking older and wiser than the first two. And by older, I mean mature and sexy. The Masters exuded an air of calm authority as they turned their attention to the younger Jedi.
Nearby, a Twi'lek crew member adjusted controls at a console, their lekku swaying gently with their movements.
Despite my presence, I was largely ignored by the crew. It was as if I were a ghost, observing the scene without truly being a part of it. I moved carefully, staying out of everyone's way as I walked through the ship. The sight of the Jedi and crew working in harmony was captivating, but the architecture of the ship caught some of my attention. I looked at the panels and ceiling, the metal floor and the windows, the blinking lights of various control panels and the round table in the middle of the bridge showing a hologram of the space above the planet. It all looked so futuristic and real.
I found myself standing by a large window, the view outside offering a glimpse of the bustling hangar. The anticipation of launch had me feeling giddy with excitement, as I waited for the moment of liftoff.
I stood close by the ship crew and overheard who I thought might have been the captain.
“Lieutenant Varr, plot us a clean vector to the outer marker.” Ordered the woman with silver-streaked hair in a tight bun. She stood near the pilot seat at the front.
“Already dancing through the lanes, Captain,” Answered the Lieutenant, who happened to be the Twi’lek woman, green fingers flying over her console.
Behind them, a Zabrak woman with pale orange skin, was sitting at her own computer terminal. Her horns looked small compared to what I had seen other Zabraks look like. She looked up and told her captain, “Hyperdrive is purring like a tooka-cat and the engines are ready to pounce.”
Another woman, human and with freckles, turned in her seat to say, “All channels clear, Captain. Traffic control’s giving us the VIP lane.”
I was distracted from the back and forth when a droid rolled past my legs. A mint-green dome swiveled as it whistled out a three-note tune. The protocol droid with its gleaming rose-gold plating walked across the room towards the door at the back leading to the rest of the ship.
I drank it all in. The technical jargon, the twinkling lights, the hologram in the middle, the droids moving around and the sexy women taking up all the roles. I looked down at myself and felt like I belonged when I remembered the Jedi clothing I wore and the lightsaber on my belt.
After what felt like ten minutes, the captain's voice echoed through the ship's comms. "All systems are go. We have clearance for launch. Prepare for departure."
The crew sprang into action; their movements synchronized as they completed their final checks. The engines hummed to life, their powerful vibrations resonating through the ship before lowering to a dim hum. I braced myself, eager to feel the thrill of launch.
To my surprise, the moment of liftoff was almost imperceptible. The ship's artificial gravity system was remarkable, negating any sensation of motion as we ascended into the sky. The view from the window shifted from the hangar to the sprawling cityscape below, the towering skyscrapers shrinking rapidly as we gained altitude.
As we broke through the atmosphere and into the vast expanse of space, I couldn't help but marvel at the sight. The stars stretched out before us, a tapestry of light and wonder. I looked back, craning my neck to see the planet drift off and shrink in size. The details of the metropolis planet brought back memories of watching the films and seeing the CGI of the planet from space. Here there was no CGI. It was real. Or, rather, a dreamworld’s rendition of what a Coruscant would look like if it were real.
The ship banked to the side, blocking the view of the planet and only giving me the splendid sight of the stars.
My eyes were practically glued to the window, the vast expanse of space stretching out before me in all its breathtaking glory. Stars twinkled in the distance, their light seemed to be swallowed by the inky blackness that surrounded them. The sight was both awe-inspiring and quietly terrifying. I almost felt myself being pulled into the vast expanse, like I was grappling with some new phobia. I shook myself free of that feeling and tried to enjoy the sight without letting myself feel that pull of existential dread.
As I stood there, captivated by the view, I almost didn't notice the conversation taking place behind me. Fortunately, my attention was drawn back to the present as the captain's voice echoed through the bridge.
"What is the destination, Master Teradoc?" The captain inquired, their tone professional and respectful.
The Jedi Master, a human female and a stoic figure with an air of quiet authority, responded calmly, "We'll be heading to Corellia, Captain Talmor."
The name sent a jolt of recognition through me. Corellia. The home world of Han Solo in the Star Wars Legends books. The thought of visiting such an iconic planet filled me with excitement. Though, it was unlikely that I would meet Han Solo, or the female version of him, since the galaxy was large and he, or she, could be anywhere.
The Master continued, "We have a meeting scheduled with delegates there, and we are to make a switch of Ambassadors."
The technical details of their mission went over my head, but the mention of Corellia was enough to pique my interest. I couldn't help but imagine the adventures that awaited me on the legendary planet.
The younger Mirialan Jedi, likely a padawan, stood close to Master Teradoc. Meanwhile, the other Master/Padawan pair had moved off towards the inner parts of the ship.
“And how are the diplomats settling in?” The captain asked Master Teradoc.
“Master Korr and her padawan have gone to see to them. Though, I imagine Ambassador Senn and her Attaché have likely made short work of their luggage.” The Master told her.
Their talk came to an end shortly after. The Jedi moved over to the side to talk amongst themselves as the protocol droid came back and said to them, “Please remain seated during hyperspace transition, honored guests.”
I stayed standing by the window and touched my lightsaber absentmindedly. I was about to see hyperspace travel in person. There was no way I was going to sit for this.
Some moments later the captain said over the ships speakers, “We will enter hyperspace momentarily. Please remain seated where you are until we are under way.”
Less than a minute later, it happened.
As the ship engaged its hyperdrive, the view from the window transformed into a mesmerizing spectacle. The stars stretched into elongated streaks of light, the familiar sight of hyperspace warping around us in a dizzying display, then wrapping into a vortex of blue and white light. The sensation was exhilarating, vividly reminding me of the countless Star Wars adventures I had witnessed on screen.
However, my excitement was tempered by a realization as I overheard two of the crew members discussing the journey.
“Trip to Corellia’s a solid three-day haul,” The Lieutenant said, green lekku flicking as she tapped her nav console. “First break's in two hours. You want mess or rack?”
“Mess,” The Zabrak woman grunted. “I’ll eat, then crash. Wake me when the coffee’s fresh.”
Three days.
The movies had always made lightspeed travel seem instantaneous, but it made sense that such journeys would take time in reality. After all, even the most advanced ships needed accommodation for their crew. Like sleeping quarters and mess halls.
I guess that meant I’d be doing a lot of people-watching in that time. As well as fucking. But first. Let's go see what everyone was up to.
I drifted along the bridge like a ghost with a VIP pass, feeling my lightsaber hilt bumping my hip.
I came close to the captain and noticed her uniform had a name tag. I couldn’t read it because it was in that fictional language George Lucas made up. I willed for subtitles to appear anytime I focused on words in this galaxy.
Subtitles appeared denoting her as Captain Elara Talmor.
Captain Elara Talmor was standing by the galaxy map in the center of the bridge. Her silver-streaked bun looked very tight against her head. Her white gloves flexed as she signed off on a datapad. Up close, the lines around her eyes told stories of a hundred hyperspace jumps. She looked like a sexy mature woman that kept in shape and retained some smooth skin where it counted.
I left her and went over to one of her crew members. This one's name tag read, Ensign Selene Voss. Ensign Selene Voss leaned over her station, freckled face glowing under console light. There was a tiny potted flower sitting at her desk.
I went to read the other women’s name tags. The Twi’lek woman was called Lieutenant Kiv Varr and the Zabrak was called Sergeant Nymba Drask. While I was at it, I reached over their shoulders and grabbed their breasts while they worked. They didn’t flinch or seem at all distracted from their work. I got curious and touched the Zabraks small horn nubs and felt a little weirded out. The green lekku of the Twi’lek woman were also odd but I think I was slowly getting used to the strangeness of these aliens.
I went back over to the captain and smacked her butt in that uniform of hers. It wasn’t particularly tight on her, but her butt was pretty good in those pants. After that meaty exchange I went down the hallway to look at the rest of the ship and to find the Jedi.
Down the hall was what looked like a lounge under a dome in the ceiling. The walls had vines on them too, which made the place look very peaceful. Quite suitable for the Jedi. There were also small rooms off of this main seating area. I looked into one and found two of them.
Master Teradoc sat cross-legged on a meditation mat in the middle of the room, her iron-gray hair catching the overhead strips. Her robes pooled like liquid behind her. Her Mirialan padawan knelt nearby.
I stepped inside and willed my commlink to tell me their full names. The device told me that the master was called Aryn Teradoc and the Mirialan was named Lira Tahlis. I was about to leave and find the other Jedi when I looked back.
Once again, I was contemplating making their outfits more arousing. Like making their robes reveal more of their chests, or making their pants disappear, so it would look like their robes had thigh slits revealing their bare legs. It was really tempting, but I wasn’t feeling that horny yet. I’ll leave it for another time.
I left that little meditation room, looked into the second one, but found it empty. I looked around and found a set of stairs next to an elevator. I took the stairs down to the next floor. I came to what looked like a conference room with the stairs going further down to another floor, but I avoided that for now.
In the conference room, there was an oval table made of wood with twelve seats. There was some sort of projector device in the middle of the table that looked like a blooming flower. The walls were lined with sound-dampening silken tapestries.
Through to the other end of the conference room was a doorway that caught my attention. Through the doorway was what looked like a tree. Or a portion of a tree. I walked closer and stepped through.
I now stood on a walkway that wrapped around the edge of the large open space. Over the railing I could see a tree that spanned almost three stories. The base was in a lower level and the canopy reached almost to the level of the bridge. An obsidian column stood next to the tree and seemed to let out water which flowed down into a pond by the edge of the tree. The walls also had vines and flowers up their length.
This ship really did seem to be built for luxury.
The walkway I was on had stairs leading down to the garden floor, and there seemed to be doors down there too, leading to other parts of the ship.
I chose to walk around the walkway and found a set of three doors at the other end of the garden. One door was open and one of the Jedi was standing outside looking in.
I got close and heard talking.
“-we’ll just be at the other side of the mess hall if you should need us, Ambassador.” Came a voice from within.
The one standing outside was the Togruta woman. My commlink told me her name was Tira Vex. I sidled up next to her, grabbing her butt while I was there, and looked inside. The master of this Togruta, a Master Jessa Korr, was visiting two women.
A human and a... my commlink told me she was a Pantoran. Another blue-skinned alien woman, from the moon of Pantora.
Their names were Ambassador Valira Senn from Corellia, and her Attaché, Mira Thal.
“Thank you, Master Jedi. We plan on relaxing for now. Perhaps we’ll see you when it’s time to eat?” Said the human woman, Valira Senn.
“Of course. That shouldn’t be too far away.” Master Jessa Korr said with a shallow bow.
Just as she said that the protocol droid walked over and informed them, “Refreshments will be served in the mess in thirty standard minutes.”
“Ah, well, there you go. See you then.” Jessa said with some humor and then left their room.
The protocol droid bowed to the Jedi and turned back to the door in the middle, which may have been the mess hall.
The master/padawan duo walked past the mess hall towards the third room. I guessed that it might be the sleeping quarters for the Jedi. I followed behind them out of curiosity.
When we were a number of steps away I heard the padawan say to her master, “Those two are definitely lovers.”
Master Jessa Korr chuckled and shook her head.
“That is none of our business, padawan.”
“Sure, but we’re the ones who will have to block out any... feelings coming from this direction when we sleep.” The Togruta said.
Once again, Jessa Korr chuckled and entered the other room. I followed behind them and stepped into their sleeping quarters. This one had four beds prepared compared to the diplomat's room. The beds looked like they folded out from the wall but still looked pretty comfortable to sleep on.
The two Jedi sat at a corner couch, and I leaned against the wall, watching them. They were sexy women, and I thought about finally changing their clothes to something sexier. If I was going to spend some time with them then I may as well indulge.
Three days. That was plenty of time to have fun, to get to know these hot human and alien women, memorize every curve, every tattoo, every hole.
But then it hit me.
Three days.
The thought of spending even one entire day in this dream world made me think. What would happen to my real body back home? Would mom try to wake me up for college, only to find me unresponsive? Would I be abruptly pulled from this dream, waking up without warning? The uncertainty was unsettling, and I decided it was best not to risk finding out.
But what to do with my Star Wars adventure? I didn't want to abandon it entirely, not when there was still so much to explore and experience. An idea began to form in my mind. What if I could pause everything, like saving progress in a video game? Could I create a checkpoint, a place to resume my adventure at a later time?
I thought about those save points in video games. Like the ones where you had to move your character into a spot on a map to access the save function. An old mechanic. Most new games let you save whenever you wanted, but I wanted something visual.
I focused my thoughts, willing a save point into existence. A glowing circle of light appeared at my feet, and a holographic message materialized before me: "Do you want to pause the game?" with options for "Yes" and "No."
With a satisfied smile, I selected "Yes." Instantly, the world around me froze, the Jedi in the corner mid conversation. Everything turned a muted grey, as if time itself had stopped. I nodded, pleased with the outcome. The Dreamworld really did just let me do whatever I wanted, huh.
Now that my adventure was safely paused, I teleported back to my home, the familiar surroundings replacing the futuristic interior of the starship. My Jedi robes transformed back into my everyday clothes, the weight of the lightsaber at my side replaced by the comfort of my usual attire.
There were still things I wanted to do before calling it a night for real though. I still had some time. So far, I had visited Paris, then Tokyo and then Coruscant. I looked at the time on my watch, with the time zone switching back to that of my home city. It was just after six thirty in the afternoon. I had woken up in the dreamworld at around seven or eight in the morning. So, I had been up and about for roughly eleven hours or so.
I would use this time until bed to try experimenting with something else. But what?
One last expreiment before bed...
