"Do you think we should do the Chateau L'mont or the Doir Estates?" I asked holding up both bottles of red wine.

"Maybe both?" Scott answered from the other room.

"Both?" I asked.

"I don't know, I don't think it matters much, just go with the Chateau L'mont. You like that one."

"Yea but will Billy and Rene like that one?"

"I'm sure they will, it's a great wine."

We were having some new friends over for wine that night. It's something we've done countless times with countless friends and family but for some reason I felt more nervous tonight. I honestly couldn't put my finger on why.

We had met Billy and Rene at a resort in St. Thomas just a few weeks ago. They were at the pool bar the same time we were and we struck up a conversation only to find out that they lived just a few miles from us.

I think it was Billy that started the conversation. He was the more outgoing of the two. He was in his late thirties and in great shape for his age. I caught myself watching his shoulders churn as he swam laps in the pool throughout the week.

His wife, Rene was two years older than him. She was stunning. Everything about her made me jealous. Her long blonde hair. Her piercing blue eyes. Her curvy body. Her large, firm breasts. Her long legs. Scott did not do a great job of hiding himself checking her out every chance he got. Part of me began to wonder if she was putting on a bit of a show for him at times.

The two were incredibly nice and we spent a few nights having dinner and drinks and a lot of time in the pool and beach. We vowed to keep in touch but things became busy for us when we got back from vacation, catching up with work and all, and it had slipped our minds until we got a text from them earlier this week asking if we were around this weekend. We considered telling them we were busy but decided a few drinks and dessert couldn't hurt. We figured since it was later at night we could just tell them we were getting tired and had to head to bed if we wanted to cut things short.

But as the time got closer I found myself feeling more anxious. I honestly did not know why but I felt like I really wanted to impress them. Was the house clean enough? Did I leave something somewhere? Would they enjoy the wine and dessert options we had made? All of that rushed through my head as the doorbell rang.
