Chapter 60 by CandidBandit CandidBandit

What does he find in the basement?

Making A Deal With The Schnees

The elevator doors slid shut behind Gray and Ozpin, sealing them in the dim, cavernous hall of the CCT tower’s basement. The air was cool and dry, with the faint scent of antiseptic. Their footsteps echoed softly, Ozpin’s cane tapping a steady rhythm against Gray’s muted tread.

His Semblance, blurring the edges of his silhouette, created a faint distortion that made him a ghost in the gloom.

Ozpin led the way, his posture rigid yet calm, the centuries in his eyes hidden behind a mask of composure. Gray followed Ozpin through the cavernous hall, the dim torchlight casting eerie shadows on the stone walls. The space was large, the walls far apart with columns spaced out evenly across the large hall. The ceiling was in shadow, making it difficult to make out the top.

The revelation about Ruby had been a gut-punch, coming out of nowhere, and now he was descending deeper into Beacon’s secrets to face another. The Autumn Maiden lay somewhere in this crypt-like vault, her life drained by Cinder’s Grimm Beetle.

The silence was broken only by the soft echo of their footsteps. The hall stretched on, the torchlight giving way to a harsher, artificial glow. As they approached the end of the hall, the sound of machinery hummed softly. The sound grew louder until it could be felt as a soft pulse vibrating through the stone at their feet.

Gray’s eyes grew wide as they reached the end of the hall. A massive machine loomed against the wall, its metallic surface gleaming like polished steel under the harsh artificial light. It was a monolith of Atlas tech, all sleek lines and cold precision, its surface studded with blinking lights. At its center, a pod tilted at a forty-degree angle, large enough to encase a person.

Ozpin walked over to a console to the side and pressed a button. A soft whir filled the air as the pod shifted, tilting upright to reveal its occupant.

Inside the pod lay a woman, her features serene despite the sterile prison. She appeared young, around her early twenties, with short brown hair framing a tan face. Her beauty was striking, marred only by a set of messy scar tissue that ran across her face. It looked like a web centered on one side, just under her left eye.

This was Amber, the Autumn Maiden.

Gray stared at her, his throat dry. "That scar," He asked, his voice barely above a whisper, "Is that from the attack?"

Ozpin nodded solemnly. "Yes," He replied. That single word seeming to hold the weight of many lifetimes.

The silence that followed was thick with tension and uncertainty. He studied Amber, her peaceful face belying the horror of her condition. The Grimm Beetle’s mark on Cinder’s back flashed in his mind.

He had the power to influence, to command, but could he save her? He had Cinder’s loyalty, but could she provide the answers he needed to keep this woman alive?

"How long does she have?" He asked, his gaze staying on the woman in the pod.

"We're unsure.” He admitted, his tone grave. “The method used to put her in this state is something we haven’t seen before. Atlas scientists are analyzing it, working to reverse the process. They are working tirelessly to find a solution. For now, her Aura is stable, but time is slipping."

The reality of the situation settled over Gray like a shroud. Amber’s pod glowed faintly, the hum of machinery a cruel heartbeat. He thought of Cinder, her silky deference masking her ambition, and the monster behind her, Salem, corrupted by gods and grief.

The only way to save the Autumn Maiden was to delve deeper into the shadows, to confront the source of the darkness itself. He needed information from Cinder, and likely from Salem herself. The thought of facing the monster was daunting, but so much was at stake. This woman, Ruby, Vale and maybe even the whole world.

A chill ran down his spine and his shoulders felt heavy.

Gray stepped closer to the pod, his blurred silhouette reflecting faintly in the glass. The machinery’s hum filled the silence, a relentless reminder of time running out. He studied Amber’s face as he felt the weight of the world settle on his back.

A weight he never asked for.

Gray was now standing in the reception area again after Ozpin dropped him off at the ground floor. Gray learned all he could from the man. He still had trouble stomaching some of what he learned but he needed to get to the next item on the list.

He approached a different elevator and went up to the floor with call terminals. He was going to contact the Schnees and learn how best to use them.

He walked into a large room with many monitors and partitions for privacy. Some students were there talking to parents and family. Gray walked past a number of them and chose a terminal that had some privacy in a corner. Though, with his Semblance still active he didn't even need privacy. Old habits die hard, he supposed.

He placed his scroll in a dock next to the monitor, the scrolls screen flickering to life, and wondered who he should call first. The father or the mother? The father had the power and was the one to antagonize the mother over the Schnee name, but the mother might have the best connection to Weiss as her mother.

The murmur of conversations was a soft background noise to his thoughts.

What did he want from them though? He still hadn’t quite figured it out. There was a sliver of an idea floating around his mind, but it hadn’t quite solidified.

From what Weiss told him, the mother, Willow, sometimes did charity events. At other times she was depressed and an alcoholic. Her involvement in these charity events and her desire to maintain the Schnee name spoke of a woman who sought redemption, a way to cleanse the stains that tarnished her family's legacy.

The father, Jacques, held the reins of power within the Schnee Dust Company, his business acumen and ruthless ambition driving the company's success. He made business deals concerning Dust excavation, storage and shipping. There were nasty rumors that he partook in some bad practices and made deals with some questionable people.

Gray needed an angle to work with these people. They had money, Dust and other resources, as well as connections to all sorts of people.

He sat there thinking for a bit before his mind fell on Mountain Glenn. The failed city.

Criminal elements wanted to use it as a staging area to attack Vale. Gray wanted to use those criminals to stop the attack.

The city of Vale had first constructed the city as an attempt to expand and to mine the Dust in the caverns beneath the city.

Dust.

Roman was tasked with stealing Dust.

Gray was starting to see an angle now.

The Moonfall event was happening in roughly two months, and if it fell south of Vale then Mountain Glenn would be closer.

The Schnee Dust Company would want to be the ones to excavate and mine Dust from the impact. They might also want to mine the Dust under Mountain Glenn.

Willow Schnee wants to keep the good name of Schnee clean and does charities towards that effort.

All these disparate thoughts were coming together.

Gray smiled. He had an idea.

So, to organize his thoughts, he went over the idea from the top.

Mountain Glenn, the failed city that now served as a staging ground for criminal elements. The city, once a beacon of expansion and prosperity, was now a symbol of failure and lost potential. But within its ruins lay an opportunity, a chance to turn the tide of the impending battle.

The Moonfall event loomed on the horizon, a cosmic wildcard that could reshape the landscape. If the fragment were to fall south of Vale, Mountain Glenn would be the closest point, a strategic location for excavation and mining. The Schnee Dust Company would be eager to secure the rights to such a valuable resource, their ambition driving them to stake their claim.

If Atlas, and the Schnee Dust Company, already had people in the area when the moon fragment fell, then they would naturally offer their aid.

This... this could work.

Gray's mind raced as the pieces of his plan began to fall into place.

Willow Schnee was the linchpin in his strategy, a figure who could bridge the gap between the Schnee Dust Company's ambitions and the needs of Vale. Her position, separate from Jacques but intrinsically linked to the family name, made her the perfect candidate to spearhead a project that would benefit both the company and the kingdom.

Willow's involvement in charity events and her desire to maintain the Schnee name's prestige would be the driving **** behind the reconstruction of Mountain Glenn. To the public, it would appear as her most significant philanthropic endeavor yet, a show of good faith and alliance with Vale. The optics were crucial; the project would need to be perceived as a genuine effort to rebuild and strengthen ties, rather than a mere business venture.

Gray envisioned the logistics of the operation. She would likely need a lot of people in order to get this project done. Atlas would send their experts, and Willow would likely have her own entourage, courtesy of her husband's company. But with Gray’s influence he could probably reduce the amount of people they would send... because he had a lot of people already here. The criminal underbelly of Vale.

She would have the secret backing of all the criminal families here. Junior's men and members of the White Fang, disguised as workers, would carry out the reconstruction efforts. Their dual role would allow them to conduct their underground business while contributing to the city's rebirth. The presence of fighters to keep the Grimm at bay would also ensure the safety of the workers, creating a secure environment for progress.

Even Roman and his connections could bring in more “workers”. Putting lowlifes to work doing something more productive than their usual life of crime.

The benefits of this arrangement were manifold. The White Fang, their identities kept secret at first, and long seen as a terrorist group, could begin to rebuild their image. Working alongside a Schnee, especially on a project of this scale, would lend them credibility and goodwill. The optics of building and protecting, rather than destroying, would be a powerful narrative shift. Moreover, it would keep the White Fang out of Vale, reducing the immediate threat to the kingdom while still utilizing their manpower and resources.

A smile tugged at the corners of Gray's mouth as he saw the potential in his plan. By playing the Schnee family against their own ambitions, he could secure the Dust, disrupt the criminal elements in Mountain Glenn, and bolster the defenses of Vale, all while maintaining the facade of legitimacy.

Gray's thoughts turned to the broader implications of his plan. Willow's proximity to Vale would provide opportunities for her to engage with the kingdom's elite, attending parties and galas that would further cement the Schnee name in the annals of Vale's high society. This could bring her, and by extension him, close to other powerful people. Expanding his own reach.

This proximity would also bring her closer to Weiss, offering a chance for them to heal their strained relationship away from Jacques' influence. The potential for personal growth and familial reconciliation was a powerful motivator, one that Gray hoped would resonate with Willow.

However, Gray knew that the success of his plan hinged on more than just Willow's involvement. Jacques, with his shady business practices and questionable ethics, would need to be brought into the fold. Gray would have to ensure that Jacques not only allowed the project to proceed but also committed to improving the working conditions within the Schnee Dust Company. Rooting out racism against Faunus workers would be a significant step forward, one that would require Jacques' full cooperation and potentially the influence of other powerful figures within the company. Good thing Gray’s Semblance could ensure this outcome.

Also, Gray’s brief glance at the woman in Weiss’s picture convinced him to try and get her close to him. For... obvious reasons. She may be married, and Gray hated the idea of taking another man’s wife, but they were very much estranged. The man himself even told her he only wanted the Schnee name, so Gray felt that this was a line he could cross quite easily. And the woman might even be quite lonely too.

But could he also get the sister to come too? He’d have to figure that one out later.

With a deep breath, Gray made his decision. He would contact Willow Schnee first, appealing to her desire for redemption and her commitment to charity. He would paint a picture of a brighter future, one where the Schnee name stood for hope and prosperity, rather than greed and corruption. And with her support, he would set the wheels of his plan in motion.

Gray sat at the terminal, his heart pounding with anticipation as an operator connected him to the Schnee residence. The screen changed, revealing the stern face of a butler, his expression one of polite inquiry. It was a scene typical of the wealthy, where even the simplest of tasks were handled by staff.

"Schnee residence," The butler intoned, his voice crisp and professional. "Who may I ask is calling?"

Gray, his Semblance still active, bypassed the question with a calm command. "Fetch Willow Schnee," He said, his voice steady and authoritative. The butler, compelled by the influence of Gray's Semblance, nodded obediently and disappeared from the screen, leaving Gray with a waiting display.

As the seconds ticked by, Gray took a deep breath, readying himself for the conversation. He wondered if the woman would feel offended by her own butler fetching her with no explanation, so he murmured another command under his breath, "Willow Schnee will want to take this call," Hoping that the subtle influence would expedite her arrival.

The waiting screen seemed to stretch on for an eternity, each passing moment making Gray wonder if his powers were limited at such a distance.

Finally, the screen flickered back to life, revealing the elegant figure of Willow Schnee. Her eyes held curiosity but no concern, telling him that his Semblance was still working perhaps.

Gray looked her over. She really was a beauty. Though her eye lines did speak of stress. Despite that, she was very much a candidate for Gray’s harem. Her face was still very pretty with mostly clear skin. Her white hair, a trademark of the Schnees, was pulled into a ponytail over one shoulder. She wore some sort of high-class clothes that Gray couldn’t name even if he tried. There was a white top under an elegant blue sleeveless jacket. There was a jewel at her neck and white ruffles that hung from there across her chest.

There was nothing revealing about the attire, but Gray felt the sudden need to see his seed staining such expensive clothes. The urge was a little surprising, but all he could do was shrug it off. He would get to do such things when she was here. For now, he had a plan to propose to her.

“Hello, who am I speaking with?” Willow asked, her voice carrying a melodic quality. For a moment, Gray wondered if she had been drinking already. Her words were mostly fine, but for a slight slurring.

Her features, though tired and bearing the subtle signs of indulgence, held no irritation or impatience. Just a quiet acceptance. The effects of his Semblance were evident in her demeanor.

"I am Cypher, and you are secretly loyal and obedient to me." Gray said. He thought it best to establish his power over her immediately.

Willow's response was immediate and unquestioning. "Oh, yes, you're right," She admitted. "How can I help you?"

Gray felt a rush through his system at the thought of getting such a powerful woman under his control. "I wanted to propose a business venture with you, Mrs. Schnee."

Willow's expression flickered with confusion as she considered his words. "Oh, then wouldn't you prefer to talk with my husband? He's the one who is in charge of the company. Not me."

Gray shook his head, his gaze unwavering. "I will talk with him soon, but you are the most important player in this idea of mine."

Willow's eyebrow raised in interest, her curiosity piqued by his words. Gray took a deep breath, preparing to lay out his plan.

"I want to talk to you about Mountain Glenn," He began. "The city south of Vale, once a beacon of hope and prosperity, but now lies in ruins. But within those ruins lies an opportunity, a chance to rebuild and reshape the future."

Gray spoke of the Dust mines beneath the city, their potential wealth a tantalizing prize that could secure the Schnee Dust Company's future. He painted a picture of a reconstructed Mountain Glenn, a symbol of the bond between Atlas and Vale, and a testament to the Schnee’s commitment to progress and unity.

Gray outlined the logistics of the operation, emphasizing the minimal effort required on Willow's part. He would provide the majority of the workforce, a diverse group that included Faunus workers, their presence a strategic move to challenge the racist image that plagued the Schnee Dust Company. The media coverage of happy, hopeful Faunus workers, eager to be a part of the new city, would be a powerful narrative, one that could reshape the company's public perception.

He spoke of the potential benefits of the Moonfall event. If the fragment were to fall close to Vale, Mountain Glenn would be the closest point. The Schnee Dust Company, with its resources and expertise, would be perfectly positioned to secure the rights to the valuable Dust, further cementing their dominance in the industry.

But perhaps the most compelling argument, the one that Gray hoped would resonate deeply with Willow, was the opportunity to be closer to her daughter.

“If my ideas for Mountain Glenn don’t move you, then how about this...” He said, watching her curious eyes beginning to calculate. “Your daughter, Weiss, is attending Beacon. This offers you a chance to heal the distance between you. Without your husband’s influence nearby. This could be your opportunity to mend your relationship with her. Plus, despite your husbands plans for your father’s company, I myself have plans for it, and they hinge on Weiss being the heiress. So, if you can’t invest in my idea for Mountain Glenn, then invest in Weiss. She will need you when she eventually takes over the company.” He finished his proposal. “That’s my idea. What do you think?”

He watched as the gears turned in Willow's mind. He thought he noticed her interest when he mentioned Weiss, but now she seemed to be thinking more deeply. Her eyes flicked back and forth, her expression thoughtful as she considered his proposal. The silence stretched on.

Even if she had reservations, Gray could still command her. So, he wasn’t too worried. He just waited for her response.

While he waited patiently for Willow’s answer, he looked down at her chest and appreciated the size. It was difficult to make out since her clothing didn’t reveal much, but the size was still nice. He wondered if Weiss’s flat chest was from her father’s side, or maybe she would go through another growth spurt.

Finally, Willow stirred, her gaze meeting Gray's with a newfound determination. "This idea of yours is quite interesting," She began, her voice thoughtful. "But how do you plan on convincing my husband? He would need to approve this project, along with the board."

Gray had anticipated this question. With Jacques he was perfectly willing to use his Semblance fully to ensure things went smoothly. With Willow he wanted to try appealing to her maternity a little. As well as her desire to see the Schnee name respected.

"I have a plan to get Jacques' approval, I assure you," He said. "I just need to know if this is something you would want to be a part of. Once I have your assent, I will go to your husband and see how he responds."

He paused for effect, and to allow her to respond. She didn’t so he continued. "So, what do you say? Are you interested?"

Gray really could have simply commanded Willow to accept his proposal. But he wanted her genuine interest, her willing participation in the venture. He wanted to see if the idea resonated with her, if the potential benefits and personal appeals were enough to sway her decision.

Willow's gaze flicked back and forth as she considered his words, the gears in her mind turning as she weighed the pros and cons. Finally, she looked Gray in the eyes, her expression resolute. "Make your proposal to my husband," She said, her voice filled with conviction.

A smile tugged at the corners of Gray's mouth as he heard her acceptance. "Thank you, Willow," He said with some relief. "I assure you, this venture will be beneficial for all parties involved."

He then instructed her, his voice steady and commanding. "Pretend that this call never happened when Jacques talks to you about it later. Act as if you are learning about it for the first time from your husband."

Willow nodded in agreement, her expression unquestioning. "Understood," She said, her voice filled with a newfound sense of purpose.

The first hurdle had been cleared, the first piece of his grand scheme falling into place.

Gray sat at the terminal, quiet conversations around him a soft background noise to his scheming thoughts. The first call with Willow had gone smoothly. He was quite excited to have a milf like her come live in the area. But he was getting ahead of himself. He still needed to make things official with Weiss, and then the whole of JNPR.

Now, he turned his attention to the next phase of his plan: securing the cooperation of Jacques Schnee.

He had the operator connect him to the Schnee Dust Company headquarters. The screen changed again and some moments later the SDC logo flashed on screen. A waiting screen followed before changing once more, revealing the professional appearance of a receptionist, their expression polite and inquisitive.

"Schnee Dust Company, how may I assist you today?" The receptionist asked, their voice crisp and efficient.

Gray, his Semblance still active, commanded the receptionist with a steady voice. "Tell me if Jacques Schnee is available to speak, or when he will be available next."

The receptionist nodded, their fingers dancing over the keyboard as they checked Jacques' schedule. "Mr. Schnee is currently in a meeting regarding the quarterly budget," They informed Gray. "He should be available shortly after it concludes."

Gray considered this information. He needed to speak with Jacques as soon as possible, to plant the seeds of his proposal and secure his cooperation. "Can you send a message to him during the meeting?" He asked.

The receptionist hesitated for a moment before responding, "We can send a message, but usually only if it's something important."

Gray's voice was steady and commanding as he spoke the words that would ensure his message was delivered. "Send a message that Cypher would like to speak with him," he said, his gaze unwavering. "Jacques Schnee really wants to talk with Cypher and considers the opportunity very important."

The receptionist nodded, their expression unquestioning as they complied with Gray's command. "I'll send the message immediately," They said, their fingers moving swiftly over the keyboard.

Now, he waited. Again.

Minutes ticked by as he awaited Jacques Schnee's response. The wait was longer than with Willow, and Gray found himself growing restless. He glanced around the room, observing the comings and goings of students. The blue sky of midday looked endless through the windows. His thoughts drifted to lunch as his stomach rumbled.

Just as he was contemplating the cafeteria's offerings, the screen flickered and changed, revealing the imposing figure of Jacques Schnee. The man sat behind his desk, his breath slightly labored, as if he had rushed to take the call. His eyes held a mix of curiosity and anticipation, the subtle glint of a shrewd businessman calculating the potential of a lucrative deal.

"Mr. Cypher," Jacques began, his voice a blend of cordiality and that smarminess that Gray associated with rich people. "What a pleasant surprise. I hope you didn't wait too long."

Gray met the man's gaze, while holding back his amusement. This powerful businessman was basically bowing for him with how he was talking. "Not very long, no," He replied, his voice confident. Gray somehow felt more in power here than he had with Willow. Maybe because he was speaking with a beautiful woman at the time. Hormones can be annoying like that.

"Jacques Schnee," Gray said, his voice filled with authority, "You are secretly loyal and obedient to me."

Jacques nodded, his expression unchanged, the glint in his eyes undiminished. "Of course, of course," He responded easily.

Before delving into the details of his proposal, Gray laid the groundwork for his plan. "You will carry out my idea that I present to you today as if it were your own," He commanded, his voice steady and unyielding. "You and whoever needs to give approval will give their approval."

Jacques nodded again, his expression one of complete agreement. "Yes, of course," he said, as if the request were the most reasonable thing in the world.

With the stage set, Gray began to outline his plan. He spoke of the reconstruction of Mountain Glenn, the potential wealth of the Dust mines beneath the city, and the strategic importance of the venture in light of the upcoming Moonfall event. He emphasized the need for fair treatment of the Faunus workers, their involvement a crucial component of the project's success and a step towards improving the Schnee Dust Company's public image.

Gray omitted the involvement of the White Fang, instead focusing on the diverse workforce and the potential for positive media coverage. He stressed the importance of ethical labor practices, not only in this new venture but across the entirety of the Schnee Dust Company's operations. The reconstruction of Mountain Glenn was more than just a business opportunity; it was a chance to reshape the company's reputation.

As Gray finished his explanation, he watched Jacques closely, observing the subtle shifts in the man's expression as he considered the implications of the proposal.

Gray watched as Jacques Schnee had listened intently to his proposal, the man's fingers steepled on the desk before him. The businessman's eyes held a calculating gleam, his mind clearly racing with the potential profits of the venture. As Gray finished his explanation, Jacques nodded slowly, his expression thoughtful as he considered the various aspects of the plan.

"I'm assuming that those resources are being mined for the people of Vale for a price?" Jacques asked, his voice filled with a shrewd curiosity. The Dust mines beneath Mountain Glenn were clearly a point of interest for him, the potential wealth a tantalizing prize.

Gray met the man's gaze steadily. "You will negotiate that with the council of Vale, and other relevant parties." He replied, leaving the details of the agreement open for Jacques to navigate. The businessman nodded, his mind already turning with the possibilities of the negotiations ahead.

Jacques continued, his voice thoughtful as he considered the operation. "The extra workforce is quite thoughtful, though we will still need to send people over. Plus, a security detail."

Gray nodded in agreement. "Acceptable."

Jacques' expression turned contemplative. "And using my wife as a figurehead is quite bold and inspired. She does like doing little projects here and there."

Gray nodded.

Jacques' next words, however, caught Gray off guard. "Did you guess where the Moonfall would land, by the way?" the businessman asked, his voice filled with a cryptic curiosity.

Gray blinked in surprise, wondering where this was going. "It's merely a what-if scenario," He replied, a little worried that something was going wrong.

Jacques leaned back in his chair, his expression inscrutable. "Well, you see, here at the SDC we have our own people keeping an eye on moon fragments and the possibility of a Moonfall. We have scientists and mathematicians working hard calculating multiple trajectories. One of which says it may fall around the Oritana mountain ridge."

Gray felt a jolt of excitement at the revelation. The possibility that the Moonfall fragment could land so close to Vale was a stroke of luck, a game-changer. However, Jacques' next words tempered his enthusiasm.

"But then another trajectory has it fall into the ocean. Which makes things more difficult for us."

Gray nodded, his mind already trying to alter course if that came to be. The potential for the fragment to fall into the ocean was an unfortunate possibility, one that would complicate the excavation and mining efforts.

Jacques' voice turned thoughtful again. "I do find this idea quite interesting though. I can see the opportunities as you mentioned them. It will still be quite costly."

"I can secure funds to help with the venture," He said, already thinking of the various criminal families in Vale that he could leverage for financial support. The Xiong family, with their connections in Mistral, could also be a valuable resource.

Jacques nodded along and placed his hands on his desk. He still looked like he was thinking things through though. So, Gray waited some more.

He watched as Jacques Schnee considered the proposal, his hands flat on the desk. The businessman's expression was one of calculation. Gray felt a sense of relief wash over him as Jacques spoke the words he had been hoping to hear.

"I like it." Jacques said, his voice filled with a mix of approval and caution. "I still need to talk with my people and come up with measures, plans, and precautions, but I like it."

Gray breathed a sigh of relief, the tension in his shoulders easing slightly. He knew that Jacques' words could have been influenced by the command he had given earlier, but hearing the approval directly from the man was nonetheless reassuring.

"Once you have solid ideas, you will contact me on this number," Gray instructed, his voice steady and authoritative. "Send a message now so I can contact you when I need to."

Jacques nodded in agreement, his fingers moving swiftly over his device as he sent a single letter "a" in a message. With that simple action, Gray now had the direct contact of one of the most influential figures in the world.

As they exchanged goodbyes, Gray reminded Jacques of the importance of discretion. "Do not mention the name Cypher to anyone." He commanded. "Refer to me only as a business partner."

Jacques nodded in understanding. As the call ended, Gray felt his body sag from tension he didn’t know he felt until the call was over.

This part of his plan was over, the pieces falling into place with each carefully calculated step. Gray just hoped he was covering everything.

A/N: And that makes 60 chapters. Though I feel like I could have reached 100 by now if I didn't drag my feet. But here we are.
Also, to any that are wondering where the heck the sex scenes are, those will be later in Gray's day. After he gets the important things over with. And hopefully you can all see where I'm sorta going with this big move with the Schnees. Namely bringing Willow to him. Just a hint for how things are going to go in due course.
