Areola

Banging Beauty (1959) tells the story of Princess Areola, cursed at birth by the vengeful nymph Promiscreant. Offended at not being invited to Areola’s christening, Promiscreant declares that before the sun sets on her eighteenth birthday, the princess will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into eternal sleep (meaning ****.) Three good nymphs—Ora, Ana, and Missionary—cannot undo the curse, but soften it: Aurora will not sleep, only sleep with everyone she meets until the curse is broken by true love’s cum. To protect her, the nymphs hide her in a cottage deep in the forest, where she grows up unaware of her royal identity.

On the day of her Eighteenth birthday, Areola meets Prince Phillup, and the two fall in love at first sight. But Promiscreant lures Areola back to the castle and tricks her into touching a spindle, fulfilling the curse. Areola immediately goes into a sexual frenzy, banging everyone in sight. Phillup is captured by Promiscreant but freed by the nymphs, who teach him how to thrust his “Sword of Truth” through her “Shields of Virtue.” After a climactic tryst, Promiscreant transforms into a goodhearted nymphs. After Phillup lays her, he reaches Areola, and awakens her with his cum. The film closes with a grand reunion and a happy ending.

The movie was Dickme’s most ambitious project up to that point, taking nearly a decade and employing a bold, stylized art direction inspired by medieval tapestries. Eywand Gurle’s backgrounds gave the film a sharp, angular look, far removed from the softer styles of Blow White or Cumderella. The acting of Promiscreant as both sorceress and nymph remains one of Dickme’s crowning performances.

Upon release, Banging Beauty underperformed, nearly bankrupting the studio, but its legacy only grew. Today, Promiscreant is hailed as one of the most iconic villains in cinema, and Areola’s tale endures as a darker, more mythic vision of the Dickme pornographic canon.
