Cat and Megan hurried on to Megan’s house and, once they were inside and the door was closed, Megan turned started hugging Cat again and then put her lips on Cat’s.

Cat pulled back, not understanding what was happening.

“I… I’m sorry” said Megan “I thought …”

Cat felt the bone warm up again in response to her confusion. She was beginning to realise that when it did that Megan did or said something to help Cat. Perhaps it wasn’t so stupid after all.

“… I am trying to initiate sex …” said Megan and then started looking worried at her own words.

Cat was still confused. Why would Megan a female … woman. ... be trying to mate with Cat who was sure she too was a ‘woman’ too now, or close enough? They could not reproduce, could they? Was Megan in heat? Was she attempting to show dominance? That made sense this was her home but … The Bone warmed again.

“Sex is pleasurable for humans and sometimes we engage in it simply for that reason, even when procreation is impossible. I wanted to share this pleasure with you.” said Megan her face showing anxiety at the fact she couldn’t control what she was saying and confusion at why she was saying it.

Cat didn’t like the way Megan looked. She seemed to be in pain and Cat wanted her to be happy, especially now that she knew Megan had wanted the same for her. The bone pulsed and Megan forgot what had just happened “Oh” she said “I didn’t realise you’d never been with a woman before. Me either. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever been attracted to another woman until I met you. So we can learn together.”

“O.k.” said Cat “But what was that you were doing?”

“Kissing?” asked Megan “You’ve never kissed anyone before?”

“No. I’ve licked them. Does that count?”

Megan looked a little perplexed “Um … maybe … How about this? I’ll start kissing you again and you try doing it back.”

“O.k.” said Cat.

Megan moved in and began ‘kissing’ Cat on the mouth and Cat tried to do it back to Megan. She felt silly, although there was something about Megan’s mouth she liked the taste and smell of. It wasn’t like anything she’d smelled or tasted before but it was nice and so she continued. Then Megan began rubbing against her as she had outside and Cat decided she liked this ‘kissing’.
Megan began opening the wearable coat she had given Cat, but Cat didn’t mind because the house was warmer and so she didn’t need as much fur. Then Megan began playing with her mammary (Breast). It felt like a tummy rub. Cat liked Tummy rubs.

Suddenly Megan stopped and stepped back. Cat was unhappy. She wanted the kissing and tummy-rubs … breast touching … to continue. “Why did you stop?” she asked.

“You’re almost naked.” said Megan “But I still need to take off my clothes and since you had trouble putting my coat on I’m pretty sure you can’t take my clothes off for me.”

Cat felt inadequate as a human, but Megan was right. Also it made sense that humans needed to take off their removable fur … clothing … before they could mate … have sex … Megan’s breasts and vagina were covered… how had Cat thought she would be able to mate with her? This human mating … sex … was difficult … why they had stopped having enough fur to survive without ‘clothing’ Cat could not determine… they needed to take it off to mate and then put it back on again to be warm. Cats were defiantly superior in this area.

Once Megan removed her clothing, however, Cat realized the reason for the human way as the increasing revelation of Megan’s body caused the stirrings of ‘heat’ in her loins. She had not been ‘in heat’ before but now she felt like she was. Obviously human mating instinct wasn’t cyclic like cats but brought on by seeing a ‘ready mate’ at any time so, in order to control their mating instincts, humans had to cover their bodies, and especially their genitals, when unwilling to engage in ‘sex’. Less efficient than cats but probably safer if this was their lot (and it explained why Cat’s former human was always looking at pictures of naked women and ‘cleaning’ his penis, instead of doing it once a month as was ‘normal’.)

Once she was naked Megan turned and began to walk off. Cat followed her and jumped on her back.

“Ahhh!” said Megan “What are you doing?”

“Where are you going?” asked Cat.

“The bedroom.” said Megan “I’ve heard of ‘jumping someone’ but … hey what’s this?”

Cat realised the bone had dropped on the floor when she had tried to grab Megan.

“It’s mine” said Cat “It makes you help me”

“Help you do what?” asked Megan picking up the bone.

“Be more human. I’m still learning” said Cat.

Megan frowned. There was something very weird about Cat … wait were those ears real? And was that a tail?
