Say hi to Megan

Because the school now runs on the block schedule (every other class each day), you now have a 30 minute "study hall" time before your next class. Because you're not actually required to go to a classroom, everyone uses this time to just hang out and relax for half an hour.

You see Megan heading towards the gym, so you figure she must have a swim meet or something going on later in the day. You run up and start walking next to her.

"Hey Megan," you say, "pretty boring day in history, huh?"

"Yeah. That Mrs H always ends up spending all her time behind her computer." Megan says. "Can't complain though, I spent the whole time watching Netflix on my phone."

You laugh. "Yeah I noticed."

"We're you watching me, John?" She says it laughing, obviously joking.

"Ha ha you wish," you reply. She playfully punches you in the arm.

"So where are you headed?" You ask. "Got a swim meet today?"

"No, but I got special permission from the coach to practice by myself today. I'm trying to recover from a thigh injury before the meet next week."

You've reached the entrance to the girls locker room in a fairly secluded area from the rest of the school. Megan pulls out a set of keys and unlocks the door.

"Good luck. I guess I'll see you later." You say, and start to walk away.
