John stood at command, “Delta Company – at ease! Each platoon will be running the course together as a team. No platoon will be considered finished until the last member, of your last team, has safely crossed the finish line. You will work as team members or be docked ten seconds of time for every cocky son of a bitch who thinks he can do this by his own damn self. Platoon A will join me on the bayside."
"OORAH, Sergeant!"
"Delta Company - Attention. Platoon A – double time to bayside with a fucking smile on your face. Move!”
With her platoon back in position on their side of the course, she directed them again. “Platoon A – at ease. I am giving up my time to get fucked in my lovely home down the road to be with you all today. So I have a special guest all the way from the east coast that thinks he knows what a sunshine state is that will be joining us shortly. You better work as a team. Sweat a team. Never be more than that arm stretch from another member or you will all fall back and push that member to the front. If we do not win – then I will be turned off and not in the mood for my sexual encounter that I plan to have at home. But we all have needs – don’t we, Platoon A?”
“OORAH, Sergeant!”
“Well I have a need. And if you lose my need will be met on your bunks. Do you understand me?”
“OORAH, Sergeant!”
“Send me home, Platoon A!”
“OORAH!”
John scanned the outskirts of the course against the woods and hills. There was no sign of her expected “favor” anywhere that she could view. Her hopes dropped slightly. It was time to do some work. She could focus on her commands and forget all about it.
