Well, you could always come back later. Besides, there was just a bit more variety at Xavier's mansion. Smiling, you close your eyes and decide to fly off rather than teleport.
After around half an hour - and almost having a mid-air collision with a very confused Angel - you set down on the outskirts of the mansion and turn invisible. Glancing around, you don't see anybody standing outside - they must all be in classes, or something.
Time to start hunting.
