"Ms. Pope, we are in Houston," Mark tells her, reminding her that they are there for her to sing the national anthem at a football game.

"Well, how far from the stadium are we?" she asks him, thinking she would be able to walk it no problem.

"Cassadee, the crime rate in Houston is very high," he tells her, encouraging her to stay in the bus until it is fixed.

"It's also broad daylight and I think I can take care of myself," she tells him, a bit perturbed, as she begins to wander off, the football stadium in sight.

But even though she can see it, she thinks better of it and decides to hail a cab, her body standing out in the tight red shirt and blue jeans she was wearing, when a questionable-looking cabbie flagged her down to offer her a ride.
