You're really not sure

"I see an interesting name on my appointments for the day," you tell your receptionist as you arrive at the office for another work day, "are you sure she's here?"

"Ms. Ponder? Yes. she is waiting for you," you hear in response as you look and see Sam Ponder, the most popular name at ESPN among men since Erin Andrews left, in your office, dressed in a navy blue shirt and a navy pair of pants, almost like she would be dressed to cover a game.

"Sam, hi, come on in," you tell her as you buzz her into your office, waiting for her to sit down on the couch and explain the purpose of her visit.

You have your ideas, though, as most of the hot ESPN sideline reporters can't be tied down there too long, and you assume Sam is the same way.

"I've had many offers to leave ESPN, yes," she tells you, as you nod your head in agreement, thinking you know how this is gonna go as you type up her contract for her, "but actually John, I was hoping you could get me a new agreement to stay at ESPN if I sign with you."

Well, that was a curveball, but one you assure her you're convinced you can handle, even though you realize getting into it with ESPN is serious business.

Sam takes your contract and leaves, promising to get in touch with you again as you wonder if getting into sports business was really that good of an idea.
