John. The boss has a job for you. It was my colleague who informed me.

I went to the boss's office and we discussed the job.

The boss said, "As you know, our company has a branch in India. And I have decided to send you to India as the head of that branch."

Do you agree?

Well, I really need to talk to my wife about this.

The boss said, "Okay, we can talk about it tomorrow."

I talked to my wife and mother-in-law about this at home.

My wife said, "But I can't come. As you know, I have worked hard for my job for years."

I said, "Okay, but this offer is a great opportunity for me."

We were talking about this.

My mother-in-law finally spoke up, "Well, John, as you say, this is a great job, so I don't think you should miss it. You go to India on your own."

Finally, you come and see us every few months.

I have a friend in India who can help you, she used to be my classmate in university.

Well, it was hard for me to accept this and travel to India alone, but it was a great job opportunity.

I reported the matter to my boss the next day and traveled to India two weeks later.
