A New World

Twelve people are sacrificed into a portal, each individual to another part of the world on the other side. This world is cut into twelve areas, most creatures here are slavers, only one is not. The areas are represented by Rodents, Felines, Lapines, Nagas, Dragons, Equines, Boars, Oxen, Goats, Canines, Birds, and Porpoises (substituting monkeys). Each of these are in four different parts of the world. Rodents, Felines, and Canines; in the Eastern side, Lapines, Nagas, and Equines, Northern section; Porpoises, Dragons, and Boars the Southern side; Birds, Goats, and Oxen to the Western side. Each section is a specific terrain, East you have the valleys, North is the farmlands, South is the sea, and west is the mountains. You are to determine the journey on one. Each has a different story.
