Big Bang

The explosion was deafening, so loud that Jeff and Kim felt like it scraped their souls as well as their ears. Lazlo stands impassive, having experienced his creations going up in balls of fire before, "I didn't just walk 100 blocks north to a ravine for you two to be shell shocked by a little explosion. Let's go collect the loot." He walks towards the now devestated stone wall to collect everything that had been blasted loose.

Jeff and Kim join in, ears slightly ringing. It was astonishing that what Lazlo claimed had been true. His special TNT blend loosened the rock without damaging it, allowing maximum returns. Sadly, their current blast was the usual blend of materials; Coal, Stone, Dirt, Gravel. After gathering, Lazlo pulls out another block of TNT, "This is my last one. After this, well have to head back home and prepare more. That and my inventory is getting a little on the heavy side. It was a good haul, right enough." Jeff nods, "Yeah, it was. I still don't understand what half of the ores we gathered are for. My objective was iron and coal..."

Lazlo looks over his shoulder as he kneels to prime his last TNT block, "Neither do I, Jeff. The wife knows more about minerology than I do. She'll put it to good use. Simple really. We get it, they use it." He stands and walks away from the wall, the TNT smoking behind him. Jeff and Kim cover their ears as another ball of fire comes to life.

This wall had higher quality ore along with the usual, some gold and redstone adding to the mix. The three collect the loot and Kim shatters the remaining minerals out of the walls with her arm.

Then she touches the gold and her right arm starts to vibrate. Jeff looks at her with concern, "What's happening with your arm?" He got his answer soon enough; the iron coating on her arm transforms into gold. She holds her arm up in front of her, marvelling at the change. After the brief pause, she resumes smashing the wall and to her surprise, the wall is much easier to break. She looks at Jeff, another wide grin on her face, "I think...my arm absorbs stronger elements. I guess my contact with gold improved my arm's alloy."

Lazlo stood next to Jeff, the same suprised smile on his face, "Golemkin aye? That'll come in handy. It'll save us supplies in the long run. Now we better head back because I bet the wife and kids are wondering why it took us two days to get the job done. Time to suprise em."
