Chapter 8 by Spotlesslurker Spotlesslurker

What's next?

Judgment day

The days blurred together in a haze of illicit passion. Meg found herself inventing increasingly flimsy pretexts to visit Delgado's dilapidated house, ostensibly to discuss case details. Yet each encounter inevitably ended with her pinned against a dusty wall or bent over a rickety antique, Delgado's substantial girth stretching her to her limits.

They explored every nook and cranny of the once-modest bungalow, from the dusty living room to the cramped bedroom. In the tiny kitchen, greasy pans bore witness to their passionate lovemaking on the cluttered counter. The small bathroom echoed with their moans as they pressed against each other in the shower. Even the narrow hallway saw action, as they stumbled and giggled during a playful chase.

Despite the torrid affair, Meg remained laser-focused on the case. She pored over documents between trysts, cross-referencing statutes and precedents. Her meticulous preparation gave her growing confidence, even as her body ached sweetly from Delgado's attentions.

At last, the day of judgment arrived. Meg stood before her closet, selecting an impeccable charcoal suit that spoke of competence and authority. She slipped on silk stockings, remembering how Delgado had peeled similar ones off with his teeth just yesterday. A crisp white blouse and tasteful pumps completed the ensemble.

Meg strode confidently into the courthouse, her heels clicking against the polished marble floor. The impeccable charcoal suit hugged her curves, projecting an aura of professionalism and competence. As she approached the imposing oak doors of the courtroom, Delgado gently grasped her elbow, pulling her close.

His hot breath tickled her ear as he whispered, "When this is over and I'm behind bars, promise you'll visit me. I'll make it worth your while - I'll fuck you so good you'll forget your own name." But after a small pause, his tone change "I... I know I'm asking a lot, but... I don't think I could bear not seeing you."

Meg felt a familiar warmth bloom low in her belly at his words. She turned to face him, a coy smile playing on her lips. Her emerald eyes sparkled with mischief as she replied in a hushed tone, "Oh darling, that sounds absolutely delicious. But I'm afraid you'll have to take a rain check on those conjugal visits. You see, you won't be going to jail today - you're walking out of here a free man."

Delgado's eyes widened in disbelief as Meg gave him a saucy wink before pushing open the courtroom doors. She strode purposefully to the defense table, her mind shifting into lawyer mode. As she began her opening statement, her voice rang out clear and confident.

Meg's voice filled the courtroom, her words painting a vivid picture of Delgado's innocence. She wove together a tapestry of legal precedents, expert testimonies, and compelling evidence, her arguments as intricate and beautiful as a spider's web glistening with morning dew.

Her emerald eyes flashed with passion as she dismantled the prosecution's case point by point. She cited obscure statutes with the ease of reciting poetry, her encyclopedic knowledge of the law leaving even the judge visibly impressed. When she dramatically revealed a key piece of evidence that cast doubt on the timeline of events, audible gasps echoed through the gallery.

Delgado found himself captivated, hardly daring to breathe as he watched Meg work her magic. Though he knew the truth of his guilt, her impassioned defense began to plant seeds of doubt even in his own mind. Could he really be innocent after all? The **** of her arguments was so compelling, so utterly convincing, that for fleeting moments he almost believed it himself.

But even as his mind grappled with questions of innocence and guilt, Delgado's body responded to Meg on a primal level. The way she commanded the courtroom with quiet authority sent shivers of desire down his spine. Her quick wit as she verbally sparred with the prosecutor left him in awe of her keen intellect.

As she wrapped up her argument, the judge's gavel rang like thunder, cutting through the air. With bated breath, both Meg and Delgado awaited the verdict. The tension in the room was palpable, a taut string vibrating with anticipation.

The jury filed back in, faces inscrutable under the harsh fluorescent lights. Meg felt her heart pounding against her ribcage as the foreman stood to deliver their decision. She exchanged a quick glance with Delgado—his eyes were wide, a mixture of fear and hope swirling within.

"We, the jury, find the defendant..."

Time seemed to stretch infinitely as every syllable hung in the air.

"...not guilty."
