She does.

After a long period of silence Rachel relents. "Ok, give me a second." She says through the door nervously.

"Sure thing." You reply.

Less than a minute later the door opens revealing Rachel in the doorway. She is wearing a white top, a long black skirt and black tights. From her attire it is obvious she will be working at the restaurant today. Also obvious is the worry on her beautiful face.

"Hi John, what are you doing here?" Rachel asks, her voice tight with worry and her body tense.

"Well, I came here to drop off these letters for you." You reply, offering the bundle of letters tied up in an elastic band to her.

Rachel takes the bundle from you and looks at the envelopes, seemingly pleased to have something to look at rather than look at you squarely in the eye.

"Oh and to give you these too." You continue and pull the bouquet of flowers from behind your back and show them to her.

Seemingly despite herself, Rachel's lips twist into a small smile. "Thank you John, they are lovely." Rachel finally says. "Would you like to come in?" She asks you, indicating to her temporary bedroom.

"Sure." You reply and follow her into the room, closing the door behind you. Your eyes sweep across the room, taking in the the features and decorations.

"Never knew you were a One Direction fan Rachel!" You state teasingly as you point to a poster of Harry Styles and the other group members on the wall.

Rachel rolls her eyes theatrically. "Please John, I'm not thirteen you know!" She says derisively.

"That's good to hear. How have you been Rachel?" You ask, switching subjects and getting to the point.

"Fine, just fine." Rachel says quickly. Too quickly and you instinctively know that she is lying. She doesn't say anything else and you know that you need a change of tack to get anywhere with her.

"I'm so sorry for what happened out there by the Pool that morning...." You begin

"What are you talking about?" She interrupts "I'm the freak here". She looks on the verge of tears.

"Hey its ok. It's ok". You say softly to reassure her. "You aren't a freak. It was a bit of a suprise to me though".

She turns aways from you. "Of course I'm a freak John!" Rachel says, her tone rising. "I have something girl's don't have." Indicating to her groin. "Why are you here?" She asks sadly after a few moments of silence.

"I'm here to bring you home with me. I miss you." You reply honestly. "I've missed you". You state emphatically.

Rachel turns around to face you again, a small sad smile on her face. "I've missed you too John, but I can't go back". She says sadly. "I've lied to you, I haven't been honest with you. I'm a freak. I have a... I have a..." She stammers.

"A cock." You finish for her, slowly moving closer to her. "I don't care, Rachel. I love you." You state, taking the plunge.

"John, I....." Is all Rachel is able to say before you press your lips against hers and kiss her.
