What happens next?
Ben Carlson makes his move
Peter nervously shifted in his seat as he watched his pretty teenage daughter Madeline and another young white girl named Gwen mingle with his alpha-male boss and some other much older and bigger black men. The men were not subtle about looking over and even touching the busty little beauties, and it was clear to Peter as they handed the girls tequila shooters that his daughter was being groomed for their use. "Oh man, our little girls are going black tonight for sure," Peter groaned to Sam, a raging erection keeping him shamefully and firmly planted in his seat.
"You have really surprised me tonight, Peter," came a voice from over his other shoulder, and he turned to see the beady eyes, sharp features and unconvincing combover of Ben Carlson, the executive manager of sales and marketing at the company. Ben was an intelligent and hard-working man, but was also scheming, and his fondness for intrigue made him an easy man to dislike if not avoid.
"Oh hi Ben," Peter stammered, turning in his seat but not standing in order to conceal his boner. "What do you mean?"
"Well, I never realized how important this job is for you," Ben continued, peering down at Peter and completely ignoring Sam Stevens. "Sure the job market is tough right now, but you hold down a job by offering Maddie to Dexler?" Of course Ben knew Madeline because she and Ben's daughter had been friends since girl guides.
"Um well I didn't mean to..." Peter protested as he looked over at the black men and white girls. "It's just she's not a little girl anymore and I guess..."
"You're happy to sit here and watch some niggers take turns on your precious daughter?" Ben shook his head, eyes blazing. "I don't think so. Profits are down, people have to be fired, and I think I'm the target. You're trying to make me look like a racist, so Dexler gets his opportunity to fire me like he wants to. Then you take my job."
Ben's paranoia was grounded in reality, as profits were down and it was clear people were going to lose their jobs. Ben had enemies, not least of which was Rodney Dexler, who beat out Ben and other internal candidates to take the top job as an outside hire, which Ben hasn't been shy of describing as 'affirmative action'. If the underperformance of the company led Rodney to be fired, then Ben would be the presumptive replacement. His only mistake was thinking that Peter was using his pretty blonde daughter to turn their boss against him.
"You think we want those negro thugs giving us grandkids?" Samuel sneered but if Ben recognized the janitor he didn't seem to be listening.
"Well, I have a chip to play in this poker game too," Ben continued as he patted Peter on the back and walked away, over to the ballroom's entrance where his daughter had just arrived...
What is Ben's game?
