Sleeping

I didn’t have work or anything to do, so I slept in for a bit. I had remembered that in the past I had developed a history of bedwetting.

I hadn’t done it in so long, but it had been a reality I faced many times. Luckily no one found out. Well, other than my parents.

It was an always embarrassment waking up with soaked sheets and having my mother scold me. I was always afraid someone could hear or something.

I never had a sleepover or anything like that for that very reason. I remembered when we had to do the locked in sleepover at school. I was so scared someone would discover my bedwetting habits… I wore a diaper.

It was humiliating knowing as a senior in high school I was wearing a diaper, hiding it from all my classmates. The nurse knew. She pulled me aside in the morning and changed me in a corner away from everyone else. I was panicking the whole time thinking someone would look over and see or something. It was utterly embarrassing. If even one person looked, it would be over.

Thankfully no one ever did and it remained between myself and the nurse and my parents.
