Evie’s POV

The rest of the day drags on as I make my way through cheer practice. Everywhere I go, I can't help but feel the weight of what happened with Dominic earlier. It's both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. I know we shouldn't have done it, but I can't deny the thrill I got from sneaking out and being with him. It's like nothing else I've ever felt before.

During a break, I sit down on the floor next to Mia, my best friend on the team. "Hey, you okay?" she asks, noticing the distant look in my eyes.

"Yeah, just a bit tired. Cheer practice always tires me out." I try to laugh it off, but it comes out ****. I can tell Mia sees right through it.

She gives me a knowing smile. "It's him, isn’t it?" She says softly, tilting her head to the side. "You've got that look in your eye. You're in love."

I blush, looking away from her. "I don't know about that...but he's different. He makes me feel things I've never felt before."

Mia grins. "I'm happy for you, Evie. You deserve to feel that way. I think you should know though that Grace is going around telling everyone you snuck out of psychology to go bang. I don’t get why that girl gets off on spreading fake rumours”

I laugh, feeling a little uncomfortable. "Well, uh, we did actually"

Mia's eyes widen in surprise. "*gasp* Evie you little slut! Tell me everything!"

“Shhh, keep your voice down, Mia! I know it's exciting and all, but we don't want everyone to know about it. It's just between us”

Mia giggles. "Well, if you're sure. So, what was it like? Tell me everything!"

I take a deep breath, still feeling a bit nervous talking about it. "It was...intense. We snuck into the disabled and… I was just so horny”

Mia giggles. "So how was he, huh?"

I blush, remembering the feel of his hands on me. "He was amazing. He knew just what to do...I never wanted it to end."

Mia squeals, clapping her hands together. "Ooh, you two are so cute together. I can't wait to see how this all plays out.”

I smile, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement. "Thanks Mia”

Practice finally ends and I gather my things, grateful to leave the tension of the day behind.
