Time seems to slow down as it gets closer. I wonder if I'll see my parents when I die...it would be nice to see them again....I look over to Delilah she's trying to intercept the creature but she's beyond her limit her legs buckle and she falls to the ground. Will she survive....probably not. The creature is now five yards away from me. This is the end. I look at Delilah one last time I give her one last smile as if I'm trying to say I'm going to be ok it just felt like something I had to do. I close my eyes and take my last breath....

I look away I couldn't watch as I hear the Nasgar's jaw snap shut he didn't even cry out. Nathan...Mary I'm sorry I broke my promise....I'm walking up to the door of a beautiful mansion. I softly knock on it and a pregnant woman with striking features answers the door she's about five ten just a little shorter than I am her body is still toned except for the bulge sticking out of her stomach her brown eyes greet me warmly her long brown hair was in a ponytail. "Delilah we're glad you came so quickly." She smiles at me it's warm and full of love. "Well I didn't have anything better to do today and even if I did I would always make time for you and Nathan." "I know and we do appreciate." I walk inside she shuts the door behind me. I look down at her belly, "so Mary have you guys finally settled on a name for him yet?" "No not yet we're stuck between Marcus and Antonio, I personally think Marcus is a terrible name but Nathan is being stubborn but you know men they always think they are right about everything." We both giggle at this we enter a huge study where a spitting image of Antonio is standing his brown eyes turn from the book he's reading to me. "Delilah!" he walks up to me and gives me a friendly hug, "hey Nathan." I state back in a chipper tone as we gently hug each other for a brief moment than separate. "So what did you guys need your message was kinda vague?" Mary walks up to Nathan she turns so her back is to him she than grabs his hands and wraps them around her. These two are just too cute.

"Well Delilah we have a favor to ask you." Mary states in a plain tone. "For you guys anything." I was more than happy to do anything for my dear friends. "Well we want to leave Fasdol actually we want to leave Yurok." I'm floored by this but I'm sure they have a good reason so I let them continue. This time Nathan speaks we've found a way to leap dimensions, it'll take a lot of power but we think we can pull it off." I'm not sure what to say at the moment I'm actually speechless for the first time in my life. "We don't want to raise our son in a place like this full of war with theses beast trying to hunt him down day and night." Nathan's tone grows slightly angry at the mention of the werebeast. "I understand guys but what does this have to do with me?" I finally ask breaking my silence." They look at each other. Mary speaks "well if everything works the way it's suppose we should be able to leave a tether between the two dimensions, that is where you come in you need magic to cross it." "So you want me to go with you guys?" "Not exactly" Nathan says "We want you to just drop in every once in a while." "why?" I wasn't against the idea I love Nathan and Mary they're like family to me but I just wanted to hear the reason. "Well as far as we know werebeast shouldn't be able to use it." Mary says. I was starting to get the idea they wanted me around as a protector. "So you guys want me to just make sure that the werebeast don't find you." he shake his head. "Not exactly we want you to look after our son should anything happen to us." I was puzzled by this if they were that concerned why not stay here? "We don't want to stay cause we're clinging to the hope that they won't find us and that our son can have a normal life." I swear I think Mary knows me to well she has always had the ability to know what I'm thinking but it was also one of the reasons I was so close to her. "I'll do it but you two have got to be careful ok?"

They nod "Thank you Delilah." Nathan's tone is full of gratitude "Nathan I can promise you that as long as I'm around no harm shall come to your child."
A roar snaps me back to reality the Nasgar is approaching me but I don't care my life is meaningless without Antonio....my chest hurts I just let out a soft laugh I guess I have a broken heart. Not like it matters though I was gonna be dead soon enough. The beast is standing over me as if it's savoring its victory.
"Just do it!" I yell at the creature it seems happy to oblige as it lunges its head forward never thought it was gonna end like this...did they ever tell you I was there when you were born? I doubt it...I went to the nursery to look at you for the first time you were such a cute baby. Why? Why did it have to end like this. I wanted us to live together for all eternity and now this things has taken you from me I feel tears falling down my cheeks. Its jaws are inches from me. I turn my head and shut my eyes.....nothing happens I turn around to see the Nasgar's jaws being pushed back. "Sitting on the ground crying doesn't become you Delilah" I hear a familiar feminine Deep voice over me I look up. It's my friend Fernetra standing over me. "You gonna sit there all day or are ya gonna move so I can beat this mother fucker's ass." I crawl away from the two and watch in awe.

Fernetra's Red color muscles flex with power as she pinned the Nasgar's head with one hand and pulls back the other her fist slams into the its head the Nasgar's body goes limp. I'm still wondering how on earth a succubus has that much physical strength more importantly where does it come from yes her body is athletic but still her muscles are fairly normal sized. She walks up to me. "Damn this thing hit you guys pretty hard." my head hangs "It's all my fault I panicked now my most of my squad is in critical condition and at least one is dead." I feel the tears coming back I try to fight them off but I can't. She walks up to me and places a hand on my shoulder and gives it a squeeze "Delilah it happens to everyone we even lost a few of our squad members it happens we've already called for a pickup and a medical support they said they'll be here soon." they must've gotten one from one of the people in my squad. "Alright guys find somebody and start treating them we need to get these guys stabilized. What's left of the her squad appears. They start moving to the injured and doing what they can to stabilize them. I'm surprised it looks like all of them are gonna pull through. "I guess that means I only lost one." The depression in my voice is obvious. Fernetra gives me a questioning look "what do you mean we've saved everyone?" "Not everyone the Nasgar killed Antonio shortly before you guys got here." "oh?" "are you sure about that?"
