Marry me

"John, I want you to marry me," she told me, kissing me on my cheek, lips and neck as we continued to cuddle.

I looked at her strangely. "Laura, forgive my asking this, but aren't you married?"

"Not for much longer," she told me. "My husband and I are getting a divorce. I caught him screwing a co-worker of his a few months ago. They'd been having an affair for weeks."

Realization dawned on me. "So, that's why you invited me? You wanted to see what sex with me was like?"

Laura nodded. "You're correct."

I stopped to think for a minute. "But I someday want to have children. And if you're no longer the age to have children..."

She looked at me, smirking, as though she was hiding a secret.

"Well, honey, I have something to tell you."
