nothing

I don't see anything once we get in side the bases well nothing besides the concrete walls and tile floors. We move through some rooms and find...nothing no bodies, no blood nothing. I quietly speak "something isn't right if the base had been overrun where are the bodies?" No one answers my question. Delilah leads us deeper into the base. As we are going deeper I start to wonder if maybe we've been tricked. We make it to the main communications room....the sight we find isn't pleasant we find the outpost staff...they're strung up by chains their bodies are covered in bites and scratches. Delilah approaches one of the men she reaches out to touch him suddenly the mans eyes open...his eyes are grey like that were beast that tried to kill me when I was younger. "You have to leave it's a trap." As soon as he says this I suddenly see several fast moving objects out if the corner of my eye "hey we have company." Delilah and the other spin around there are seven were beast blocking the door that we entered and suddenly they start coming out of the wood work we are suddenly the were beast are now from wall to wall fully encircling us. "Well well what do we have here." A female were beast approaches us we prepare to defend ourselves. "What do you want beast?" Delilah snaps at the beast. The beast raises a claw and points a finger towards me. "Him turn him over to us and the rest of you can leave." "Hahahaha you can't be serious you think we would betray one of our own you might as well attack us." I'm surprised Abby is the first to respond to this the rest of the group circles around me this time Zack speaks " if you want him you'll have to go through us." The beast sighs " here I thought you were going to be smart about this...very well." She moves back to the were beast the rest start to close in on us.

Delilah is laughing suddenly I see something that scares me Delilah's eyes are bright with anger that's when I realized she wasn't laughing because she thought this was funny she was laughing out of outrage. Suddenly Zack, Abby and Titan charge the beasts with no regard for their own lives Zack is wielding a pair of short daggers diving them into any thing foolish enough to get into his path. Abby has a sword that looks like it's made of pure electricity she cuts down a few beast with little effort. Titan hands suddenly transform into two giant curved shaped blades he spins around like a top chopping down five of them before they even realize what's going on. Amanda and Tina are glowing red as well shooting light from their bodies into the crowd more of them burst into flames. Kyle has a bow he doesn't have any arrows he pulls back the string suddenly a ball of magic suddenly appears in his hand drawing the bow he releases and four arrows fly from his bow and into the unsuspecting beast. I'm not gonna stand around like I did last time I charge into the fray I let my body relax I let my mind go blank one swings a claw at me that hits nothing but air I move behind it before it can act and punch it squarely int the back of the head my gloves glow as they make contact and its body twitches and falls to the ground it doesn't move a muscle. The battle continues for what seems like an eternity but there numbers are thinning we continue our **** not hesitating for a moment knowing it would mean our deaths. Titan howls in pain as a were beast has latched itself on to his arm another one is zooming towards him I move to try to intercept it but am cutoff by three of them.

I can only watch as the second one draws closer to him it lunges towards titans neck time seems to slow down as it inches closer with each passing second suddenly a arrow intercepts it plunging into its skull it falls limply to the ground the second one lets go of Titan Zack is standing behind it with his dagger lodge into the back of the beast head. "Enough!" the were beast fall back to the female...she must be their leader. She snarls at us " you haven't seen the last of us." they're trying to run for some reason my mind goes back to Annabel I feel rage start to fill my body. " You try to kill us...to kill me....and now that things aren't going your way you want to run." I move towards the female a speed that shocks even myself. She is stunned I shove my hand into her chest Ahhhhhhh! She screams out in pain "please...please stop it hurts." "SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!" I yell at her my rage filled my body overwhelming any reason I had. "please don't kill me." she whimpers "I'll show you the same mercy you kind showed my friend Annabel." I dig my hand deeper into her body till I feel her beating heart, she tries to swipe a claw at me but I catch it in my hand and being to squeeze it then I hear a loud crack. "ahhhhhhhh! She is crying but I don't care with one swift yank I pull out her still beating heart and crush it in my hand. Her crying stops and her body goes limp I drop her to the ground.

They begin to look at each other they suddenly change back into human form they raise their hands and kneel to the ground. Delilah and them seem to relax but not me. These bastards think we'll take them prisoner they think we'll let them live not if I have any say in it I begin to walk towards them I can see the fear in their eyes growing there is about thirty of them and I'm going to make sure every last one of them dies. I suddenly feel a pair of arms wrap around me and pull me into a hug I feel a familiar pair of large orbs press into my back. Delilah whisper in a soft soothing tone "Antonio that's enough the battle is over we've won they've surrendered." "I don't care!" "They don't deserve to live!" "Antonio." She gently squeezes me "this isn't you don't sink to their level." I start to feel tears forming in my eyes I fight them back and break from Delilah's grasp. "Shut up!" I begin to walk towards them I see their eyes pleading with me. "please...please spare us a woman begs." I stop in front of her "you want mercy...I wonder if she begged for her life." I grab her throat and lift her above my head "I wonder if she begged for her life as your kind tore into her flesh and killed her" my voice is shaky and the tears are trying to resurface. I feel a pair of hands on my shoulders they gently turn me around so that I'm facing Delilah she places a hand on my head and the other around my body pulling me into a loving hug I start to cry.Delilah turns to the others Abby,Amanda,Kyle,Tina restrain the prisoners Zack treat Titan. Her hand on my head begins to move through my hair as her other hand rubs my back. I whisper quietly "why...why couldn't I do it why couldn't I kill her." she pulls back and removes the hand from my head and puts it under my chin so that I look at her her violet orbs are shining with that familiar love and understanding that I'm so accustomed to. "Annabel would be proud of you." She holds me for ten minutes I pull away from her "thank you Delilah." she kisses my forehead "anytime Antonio, now what say we call headquarters and get the hell out of here." I smile "sounds good to me." "Delilah to headquarters do you copy?" A few seconds pass. "this is headquarters "we read you loud and clear Delilah what's your status?" "The base is secure waiting for pick up, we'll also need a med pick up and a prisoner transport." "copy that they are on route now." I give her a confused look "Delilah do they have a cure for the were virus?" "Of course we do but if you not treated within four days of being bitten the change is permanent." The next hour passes without incident our ride arrives. The Arachni approach us their leader walks towards us. "Thank you for helping us we will not forget your kindness." This causes all of us to smile. Delilah speaks "we never got your name." "It's Elizabeth she approaches me "Antonio" her tone is sultry and full of lust "this is from all of us." she closes the distance between us and kisses me her four arms grabbing and groping my body her tongue invades my mouth and gets underneath my tongue and brings it into her mouth she sucks on it. My toes curl in my shoes after about thirty seconds she releases me. "Make sure to come and visit us again." "o-o-ok." She laughs "bye Antonio." Delilah has a jealous look on her face "enjoy yourself." "Hey she kissed me." Delilah just sighs "c'mon lets go home." We board the plane it takes off one by one I see everyone fall asleep, man sleep sounds good right now I let my heavy eyes finally close and I drift off to a peaceful sleep.
