At Madame Veil's house

Ultramom awoke to find herself laying in a large king sized bed that was covered with satin sheets and had a lace canopy. Hovering over her was an older woman who appeared to be in her 60s that had graying hair, sunken cheekbones. The woman wore a dark slim dress and had on white satin and lace gloves. The most striking feature though was the large red ruby in her forehead. Ultramom tried to sit up, but the woman pushed her back down.

“I am Madame Veil, and you are my guest Ultramom.” The woman said as she leaned in towards Ultramom. One of her gloved hands grabbed the hair on the back of Ultramom’s head and pulled.

Ultramom winced and asked. “What do you want from me?” Thinking that she was more this woman’s prisoner than guest.

“I want to know about your powers, where they come from and how I can use them….. you see age does not seem to affect you as much as it affects other women. You must have a fountain of youth something that slows and softens the effects of aging.” Madame Veil stroked Ultramom’s cheek with her other gloved hand. “Now tell me about your powers.”

“I don’t know much about them, I can’t tell you anything helpful.” Ultramom said lying, not wanting to give Madame Veil any information.

“A pity, we will have to do this the hard way then… the hard way for you.” Madame Veil yanked hard on Ultramom’s hair. Then her red ruby glowed and a wide energy beam shot out that struck Ultramom in the head. The beam enveloped and surrounded the heroine’s head and caused Ultramom intense pain.

“AHHHHHHHHHHH!” Ultramom cried. “What are you doing to me?” Ultramom closed her eyes and gritted her teeth. The pain was intense and it felt like something was burrowing into her head.

“I am probing your mind, because I think you are lying to me.” Madame Veil smiled. “If you tell me how I can access your powers I will stop, but if you lie or try to trick me it will only make things worse.”
