Make a shelter here

You look around at your surroundings.

"I think it would be best to build a small shelter here. We're on the edge of the woods anyways, so we have a readily supply of wood and leaves."

"Good point. I'll go find us some firewood." Doe offered and heads off.

"No way." You told her. "We are not splitting up."

Doe stands still and turns her head in your direction. "What, you don't trust me?"

"All I'm saying is there must have been a reason for which you were captured."

"I am still captured, John. This time it's on an uninhabited planet, and I know I don't possess the skills to get off of it on my own. I don't have the luxury of turning against you."

You still didn't trust her, but she had a very good point. Both of you were trapped on this planet. If you can't manage to work together, you'll never get out. Neither her nor you.

"... if you're gone for more then ten minutes, I'll go looking for you."

Doe smiled. "Understood." She then turned back to the forest and did her part.

You had a rather easy time getting the shelter up. You just shot your laser-pistol at the branches of the trees to get the wood you needed. Then arranged them in the form of a makeshift roof. When Doe returned with the firewood, she helped you put leaves over your construction in case it started to rain.

When the shelter was complete, it was getting dark.

"Just on time." You thought.

You then lit up the campfire while Doe prepared the food. It wasn't a good meal, just a few fish and some berry's. But it was enough to sate your hunger.

After the meal, it was time to sleep.
