You talk with John

You arrive back at the hotel at 2 pm, as you walk back to the front door, you let yourself fall back to catch up with John.
"Hey man" you say, unsure how to start the conversation.
"Hey"
"I just wanted to ask you how you´re doing with all this." You feel kinda weird saying this, but you do actually care about your friend and dont want to completely fuck up his relationship.
You decide to sit down on a bench in a small garden next to the entrance.
"Its not how I expected." John then says. "Its really humiliating, especially standing up on that stage. And Lydia is so much more confident now...she seems happy though."
"Are you happy?" you ask.
He seems to think, but its not a long time before he says: "Yeah. I mean, its exiting, you know, everythings new and sometimes weird...but it does actually do the trick, for both Lydia and me. Although it has been some time since she gave me some relieve...but thats part of it."
You nod, relieved hes doing good.
"Thats great. I dont want everything to change between us. Just some things we´re both fine with."
You leave it kinda ambigious but he nods.

After a couple of minutes of talking about other stuff, you head back inside.
