Chapter 4

What does she think of?

A Dirty Idea

Until abruptly coming to a screeching halt when one particular idea does come to Snow’s mind. One that also made her electricity jolt along her circuits within her shell, silently burning up in embarrassment at the mere thought of actually acting on such a… a dirty idea.

And oh by the traveller what makes it even worse, Snow can’t seem to rid herself of these highly inappropriate thoughts! Only reason she’s even thinking about it is due to overhearing a couple of other ghosts sharing some stories back at the tower on how they got closer with their lightbearers. So Snow naturally got curious of course and decided to sneakily listen in just for a little bit, and well… wasn’t really expecting on how close they really meant by it. Boy if she had the capabilities to blush like all those organics out there during that whole talk - and now too - her whole shell would definitely be the definition of being bright red as a ripe tomato.

It’s not like she could even entertain the idea of doing that with her own lightbearer, it’d be totally unprofessional of her and would only serve to make things weird between them. It would be best for her to simply forget it.

Yep.

Gah! Snow can’t believe she’s actually starting to consider it.

How’s she meant to even go about swinging that idea with Luke!? Float on up to him and say, “Hey Guardian, you wanna… do it?” see just how lame that was! Yet she can’t seem to focus on brainstorming anything else to offer instead of this insane idea that’s making her light stir up in all sorts of ways. The mere thought of seeing all of her Luke, strengthening their connection to a whole new level, while he’s gasping away in pleasure because of her and why is she imagining this!? Snow’s honestly tempted to run a self-diagnostic to figure out we’re these perverted mental images are randomly springing up from.

“Snow?” Luke’s voice interrupts Snow's train of thoughts, noticing his concerned look directed her way. “You ok there?”

Even when Luke’s upset, he’ll quickly disregard his own feelings for someone else’s. A bad habit of his, but admirable all the same. “I’m fine. You're fine. I— I was just thinking about something.” She hurriedly assures him, embarrassment still lingering.

Luke stares at her curiously. “About?” He hopes to stretch out, wanting to hear Snow further explain.

“Luke,” Doubt plagues her mind whether to push through with this. But something within the depths of her light urges Snow forward. “Do you trust me?”

“Always.” He doesn’t hesitate to answer.

Snow takes a brief moment to appreciate her guardian's sincerity, before quickly hyping herself up. “I… can you… dear traveller… can you take your pants off?” She ends up blurting out, wringing her shell tight against her core.

He blinks once. He blinks twice. “I… huh?

Snow probably could’ve said that better. “I uh— thought of a way I could um— show my own appreciation for everything you’ve done. If… If you’ll let me.” She clarifies shyly.

Luke’s whole face goes completely blank the second he registers what Snow said to him, which also wasn’t helping the ghosts self conscious right now. A part of her is still in disbelief she outright said it to him, well not all of it but the implications aren’t hard to miss judging by her guardians slightly flushed cheeks. It’s nearly enough to make Snow forget everything and coo at how adorable his expression is, Luke’s always had this cuteness to him in her opinion. Eventually he goes to say something, but no words manage to form in the air between the pair thus leaving him gaping awkwardly like a fish out of water.

Along with reeling her back into reality. “I mean— w-we don’t have to. It’s stupid, haha I don’t even know why I suggested it! Let’s forget everything I just said, ok?” Snow tries to backpedal, salvaging whatever dignity she has left.

Meanwhile Luke’s brain finally catches up enough to speak properly. “Were you offering to… get me off?” He asks unsurely, while pretty much summarizing her intentions.

Causing Snow to find the ground very interesting to look at right now. “That is definitely a uh— broad way of putting ah— it. W-Why are we still talking about this?” She begins fluttering more nervously, while backing away wanting to move on.

Luke on the other hand looked surprised to see his ghost all jittery for once, unlike her usual assured confident self. “Snow, I um— am flattered first of all. But…”

What does he say?
