Running

I ran down the hall as fast as I could. Luckily no one was in the hallway. There was a problem however. The problem being that the girls’ hallway and the boys’ hallway each had a door that required a key to get in.

Meaning as soon as I left the girls side, I wouldn’t be able to get back in without a key. And I wouldn’t be able to get to the boys side without someone letting me in. There was also a main co-ed common area that was just outside of the door. Often times people hung out there.

The only problem was that there was no way to see if anyone was there. There was no window or anything. Just a door. I gulped as I took hold of the door handle. I just prayed no one would be there as I ran out the door.
