working the system

I did a few more things for the scientist to scan with his machine before he left. I was tempted to take something from his pockets, but the room has to many cameras watching me. once he left, I finished my routine before going to the corner of the room and meditating.

I sat down and closed my eyes. I transformed my hair into hands and had them go through hand signs. this was all a show for the camera of course. a few strands of my hair went up the wall and into the camera above me.

the nanites managed to plug in allowing me to see my room from the nine different cameras in the room. there were no blind spots on the room at all. this corner was the only one with only a single camera watching me. hopefully the shadow of the corner keeps my hair from being seen.

Pushing past the camera I was able to get access to the security system. I have here for a few trying to learn what I can but, I am no computer whizz. I had to slowly figure out how to move around the system without tripping any alarms.

"Yes," I yell into my head. I just managed to find a map of the facility and access to the cameras. First thing I did was memorized how I found this so I can get to it quicker next time. with that done I started to study the layout. This base was rather large and lucky me my room was right in the middle of it.

Studying the cameras, I found much like my room there was almost no blind spots. it seems the people who run this place did not skimp on security using cameras on both sides of the hallway and at both ends. most cameras were visible to other cameras. Looking through the cameras I managed to find where the scientist sleep, cafeteria, and most importantly the armory.

I took the time to memorize the base layout. I then backed out of this part of the system after this success I wanted to keep looking. however, I did not want to be too suspicious by meditating for so long.
