We both just stand around and watch the costume contests go off. When it’s time for the couple’s contest, my wife says, “Come on, babe,” and she smacks my ass real hard, so hard I feel the butt plug move a little. We head to the stage. There is a little sign-in sheet where we put our names and our costumes. We are the last couple to enter.

There are several other couples all in various costumes, but they are all pretty shabby. They look at us with a little disdain. I wonder if they think our costumes aren’t good enough. Maybe they think I’m really female and Macy really male, in which case it would look like we barely tried.

The host introduces the couples, stating their names and their costumes. We are last and he says, “Our last contestants are known well by many around here for the bet they have every year. I wonder whose choice it was this year. Either way, I give you Dennis and Macy Kingsmen. Tonight they have both dressed as the opposite sex.”

Everyone turns to us, and there are some murmurs from both the crowd and the other couples. I hear a few no ways, and how can he be a woman, how can she be a man. In some ways it’s a little flattering they think we look so good and in another way it’s kind of humiliating that everyone just thought I was a woman.

“Okay!” The host says, “Now that we have our contest. Use the large screen behind them. Take out your phone and type in the URL on the screen. It will take you to a poll we’ve set up. We’ll give you all ten minutes to cast your votes. Our contestants will stand here so you can check their costumes out and make a decision.”
