Given a "pet"

I hear the door opening up behind me. turning around I see a group of workers pushing a gurney towards the dead body. I walk over to a wall on the other side of the room. leaning on it I saw them put the body on the gurney and lead it out of the room. the other workers clean up the rest of the area.

hearing the door open again I see a scientist if the lab coat means anything leading a man into my room. the man had violet hair. I could see some scarring around his head, and he looked like he was just staring into space. he was also naked. raising my eyebrow, I see the scientist led the guy to me.

"Excellent Job," he told me. "We gained some valuable data from your fight. though we will have to figure out why you clone could not use the nanites."

"Honestly I would like to know as well," I tell him Honestly. "Now who is this and why is he naked."

"This is subject 213," he said. "He was used in testing a new technique for brain surgery. it failed horrible leaving him an empty husk. he will respond to simple commands, but any form of complexity and he will fail. if you tell him to put on a shirt and he sees five shirts he will put on all five shirts."

"Poor guy," I said under my breath. I could not imagine being stuck like that. "Does he know what he is doing? and why did you bring him her?"

"no, his brain is barely functioning to follow the orders," said the scientist. "He is here to be given to you as a reward. consider him an obedient pet you could dress up or use to release sexual urges. he will follow your commands as well as he follows ours. he cannot distinguish who is giving the orders only that they were given."

"What," I said in shock. I never imagine that as a reward. "Are you okay with that," I ask him.

"He does not have the thought capacity to come up with words," said the scientist. "Watch speak," he said aiming at 213.

213 opens his mouth and nothing comes out. his eyes continue to stare into space unnerving me. if I did not already know these people are monsters that would have confirmed it.

"Enjoy your pet," said the scientist. he then turned to leave the room. looking around I see the others had finished their work and the room had returned to the bedroom configuration. as the door closed, I look at 213 not sure what to do with him.
