The Plane Lands

You get on the phone to your friend Felix and say you are there safely. You then get the 200E bus to the city centre, and you resume your journey to the Hungarian countryside. You check on your phone and see that the train departs from the Deli train station at 7:00am, which is 30 minutes away in time, so you hurry up and get there just in time.

The ticket inspector comes, and you look up and see that she is a good looking woman, probably in her late 30s or early 40s, maybe even 50, but she looks younger, and she is wearing a sexy uniform with high heels. She does not seem to speak English, so it's a good thing that you speak Hungarian.

"Hello", you say in a friendly tone

She says "good morning tickets please" You show her your ticket, and she says thank you. She asks where have you just flown in from? And you tell her from England. She seems interested in knowing more about the UK.

"What do you do in the UK?" she asks.

I work there due to Hungary being expensive and unaffordable," you reply.

She says "whell I understand why you decided to leave Hungary and work there?"

"Yes, it has become very expensive", you both agree

"Do you have family there?" she asks.

"My family lives there", you answer, "what about you?" you ask her

"Whell, I am married and have 3 children," she says. You smile at her and ask "what is your name if I may ask?"

She smiles and says "I'm Aniko, nice to meet you." "Nice meeting you too", you say, and shake hands with her, and she leaves. Aniko says "whell I have to get going on with work, but if I have a bit of free time onboard, I will return to you."

"Yes please", you say. After an hour or so, she returns, and you continue to have a conversation about many things, such as the weather, food, politics, etc. Then she leaves again for another short period. This happens several times during the trip. When Aniko comes back, you continue to chat and you say "Sorry, when you said your name, I forgot to say mine, my name is James". Aniko looks surprised and says to you, "James?"

"I thought you were Hungarian" "because you speak Hungarian well". Aniko asks "So how old are you James?"

"I am 20 years old", she says, "I thought you were older than that", so you ask her "I know it's inappropriate to ask, but how old are you if I may ask?" Aniko says, "I am 38 years old." You smile at her and say "you look younger than that." "Yes I know", she says, "I am blessed." "What do you do?" you ask.

"I used to work in a bank," she tells you, "but I had to quit my job because I got pregnant."

"I see", you say, "and how old are your kids?" you ask.

"1 is 10 years old, 1 is 8 years old, and the youngest is 4 years old."

"Wow that's great", you say. and you continue with a long conversation until you are in the city where you will be staying. Before getting off the train, you decide to exchange contact details. She says "I am on fbook my name is Aniko" James "I know, but what is your surname" She says "so my full name is Aniko Molnar"

She then says "I hope we meet again James" and she walks off the train and out of your life. As you get off the train, you see your friend Felix, and he greets you with a big hug.
