Lady Tremaine opened all of Cinderella’s drawers ensuring they were empty. She searched Ella’s closet too. Meanwhile Cinderella had no choice but to stand there naked while her stepsisters laughed.
Then Lady Tremaine ordered Drizella. “Search under her bed.”
Drizella eagerly obeyed and of course found the stash she had left.
She pulled her dress and jewelry out and wailed. “She took them! She took my things! Mother! She’s a thief! She didn’t learn her lesson!”
Cinderella looked startled. She looked to see Lady Tremaine taking hold of the dress and necklace. “W-wait…” Cinderella pleaded. “I-I didn’t…”
“Silence,” Lady Tremaine said. “I gave you direct orders. And you turned around and disobeyed me again.”
Cinderella gulped wondering what Lady Tremaine would do.
