The investigation can resume

Jessica made her way back into the center, ready to continue her investigation. She hoped there would not be anymore interruptions this time. She looked around, there was no sign of that crazy old lady or the crowd that followed. The town looked incredibly ordinary, the only suspicious part Jessica could see was the permit system.

Every establishment and business had a bouncer or security guard who was checking what Jessica could only assume were the permits. "How did I miss that on the town website?" Jessica muttered to herself, the permit system was huge in this town and she somehow had no idea.

It was a very interesting system. Outside of her Sinclair investigation, Jessica noted down in her book about a potential article on the town and how it stops criminals and unwanted guests. Sat by the fountain once again, Jessica got lost and carried away with her thoughts. She didn't even realise an hour had gone by and that she had essentially written a first draft article.

Her stomach rumbled, it was approaching lunch time for Jessica. She closed her book and scanned the area for fancy restaurants. She almost immediately spotted an Italian restaurant called "Polcaro's". It looked rich and fancy, Jessica licked her lips entingly...
