You are Elise Rathburn, recently promoted to the rank of Commander within the Imperial Navy. At only 30 years of age you are the youngest person to hold such a rank.

You are 5'5" tall caucasian with a slim figure. You have wavy mouse brown hair and hazel eyes. Your hair is tied in a simple pony tail by a piece of black cloth and hangs down to just past your shoulder blades. While technically non-regulation your rank as commander grants you certain priviledges.

Your uniform comprises black jacket, pants and combat boots. Secured to your right thigh is a holster containing your military issue pulse pistol.

You are seated in the passenger section of an Imperial jump shuttle. You are the only passenger. Resting on your lap is your personal data pad containing your sealed operational orders. At present all you know is that you are to travel to Outpost 44 and take command of the Shadow Hawk, your operational orders can be unlocked at that time.

"Stand by to jump into normal space." one of the jump shuttles two man crew calls out.

In the passenger section you prepare yourself for the transition to normal space.
