Chapter 4 by MidbossMan MidbossMan

What work will you undertake?

Helping the girls at Clown Candy

Donatello and Theodore were both on massively different wavelengths, but they'd been clear about one thing: the Down is absolutely full of clown girls ringing their bells for some kind of assistance or another. It was hard to know where to start! Everywhere you look, you see staff being flagged to do something crazy, like serve as a human cannonball or balance an apple on their head for a knife-thrower. Is this what your work is going to be like? You might not survive to get to the good part of your job, if you go in blindly to something with such a high chance of lethal injury!

Luckily, you feel the guidance of your guardian angel... or, rather, you hear him speaking from somewhere nearby. You get the feeling he's shouting at you from one of the stalls and then ducking down behind it before you can see him. "Try the candy store! Clown Candy! Go there, kiddo! Ain't no easier job in the whole park!" the voice practically screams at you without a hint of discretion. At least the volume of the guy makes you certain you aren't just imagining him.

It might seem odd to have a candy store in an adult entertainment paradise, but adults like candy too. Just as adults here appreciate the art of clownery, bringing what could be called "a child's entertainment" to a new frontier of adults, so too can visitors to this park enjoy all kinds of sweets for mature palates. You're hoping that in addition to the various confections, you might find a clown girl that will whet your appetite and sate your cravings!

Clown Candy isn't hard to find: it's right near the entrance of the park. It's not particularly large, meaning it's probably only staffed by a girl or two at a time max, but now that you think about it, it seems as though a bell has been going off in there ever since you left the front office. The building is decorated in an odd way, with adornment designed to look like runny pink cream on one side, streaming down a wall of wafers. On the other side, it's chocolate on chocolate, with dark, gooey sauce oozing down layers of dark cocoa. It's making your mouth water looking at it. Maybe you'll have some candy in here after all before you get to work on the clowns? The sign up top says CLOWN CANDY and looks so pristine, you figure it must be newly cleaned every day, perhaps so that the rest of the building doesn't seem unappetizing.

To your surprise, the inside of the shop matches the outside: it's all bright and colorful on one side, browns and blacks on the other. The decoration gives the place a bizarre atmosphere. A few customers are browsing the stock, which includes not just candy, but cookies, cakes, tarts, just about whatever you might want. Of course, what you really want is what's behind the counter, and that is two lovely clown girls.

... Well, it's a counter long enough to fit two lovely clown girls, but one of them is conspicuously absent. On the pink side stands a perfectly lovely clown girl, dressed in a pink, poofy blouse and even poofier skirt. It matches the decor in color, if not in drippiness. Her hands are clad in white short gloves, stopping at the palms, and her feet in girlish pink pumps with tall, white stockings. White ribbons are wrapped here and there on her outfit with little silver clasps, including a choker about her slender neck. Her hair is long, straight, and distinctly pink, with a silver hairband at the scalp. She has a face so cute it could instantly reverse coulrophobia in anyone unfortunate enough to suffer from it-- she looks like, beneath her white makeup, pink lipstick, and bright pink eye-shadow, she might be about 20. In lieu of the round ball nose, she's simply painted the tip of hers.

The outfit is poofy and frilly enough to hide most of her body, but the blouse is cut pretty low, and you see she's sporting a very nice pair. It's the kind of constant down-blouse view of cleavage that'd make you take a good, hard look at your waitress and have a hard time keeping eye contact.

She's tapping the bell on the counter lightly with two fingers as she finishes up serving a customer. When she sees you looking, she gives a beaming smile that makes you want to purchase a lot of candy, right now. However...

The way she's pushing that bell couldn't have been responsible for all the noise you heard. Is there another clown somewhere here?

Ignoring that question for now, you introduce yourself to the first clown you laid eyes upon. The picture of her, here in this candy store, is so complete and perfect, you find yourself stumbling over your words. Do you really belong here: a male in a tacky pink t-shirt, next to this clown girl, beautiful and costumed from her toes to the top of her head?

"Don't worry! There's no need to be formal around me! I still feel like a new hire myself sometimes," she responds, doing her best to calm you down. It's working to calm you in some ways, while the attention from her gives you unrest in other places. "My name's Bubblegum-- they call me the Helpful Clown. I've been working here since I was 18. I was the youngest hire back then!" she giggles, running her gloved hand through her pink hair. You wonder to yourself if it's dyed or just a very convincing wig-- either is possible with these girls. "I got that title because I like to help new hires learn what to do around the park. It's a pretty strange place, isn't it? I don't recognize your face, so I'm figuring you're new here, Bowie."

Lovely! Superlative! A clown that even goes as far as to learn the faces of all the rank and file clown assistants! What a lucky person to meet! You thank your guardian angel again for the help.

Her pink smile widens for a moment, as she gestures for you to join her behind the counter, lifting up the middle partition to allow you through. It feels like crossing the threshold more directly into the garden of clown girl paradise. "If you're ready, I've got a job or two that would be perfect for someone just learning the ropes."

... From next to her, you can only imagine what the look down her blouse would be like. It's got to be the best seat in the house. You were born ready for this.

Before you can take your spot behind the counter, you make an observation: the bell that was ringing before hasn't stopped ringing, even now that she's taken her hand off the desk bell. Is there someone else who needs help inside the shop.

The girl smiles her absolute sunniest, then grabs one of your arms in both hands, exerting a sudden pressure that you're amazed is coming from her slender, feminine hands. The strength doesn't match her look at all! "He he! You are pretty observant, Bowie! That's a very positive trait for a new employee. I can tell you're going to go far here!" she commends you, moving her hands from your wrist up to your shoulder. You think she's shifted to allow you to look down her blouse better... is she braless?! You don't see a hint of fabric under that airy blouse she's wearing, just the kind of massive boobs that make you fantasize about sticking your forearm down in the hem, submerging all the way to the wrist.

While you're thinking about that, she pushes the curtain of her hair out of the way again, seeming as though she's slowly stepping between you and the partition she let you through earlier. "Of course, another very positive trait for any new employee is to be attentive to one of the girls before moving on to the next! You understand, right?" The girl bats her eyelashes again, while leaning slightly, as though she's prepared to reach out and block you if you try to get around her. "There's plenty of work for you to finish up front. The other bell you're hearing belongs to... shall we say... a difficult clown?"

Something's very off in this candy shop. What is Bubblegum hiding from you?

Is this some form of training? Or is this hazing? Are you being hazed right now?!

What do you think?
