College Life

It's been a month since Tina's ****. On my last day in Youngstown before moving to Columbus I stop by her grave at Forest Lawn Memorial Park to lay down a wreath and some flowers at her headstone. I miss her so much. Her **** has left a large hole in my heart.

Before stopping by the cemetery I said my goodbyes to Tina's mom Christina. My mother has promised me she'll look in on Christina from time to time. I lost my best friend on that day but she lost her only child. I can't even imagine how that must feel.

Mia has been my rock throughout this whole time. Without her I don't think I would have made it after Tina's ****. Since she is also attending Ohio State as well she has decided to move in with me.

Last night we loaded up the moving van and we're about to leave. Our parents are at my house and are in tears. Even my dad Keith is tearing up." You take care of yourself peanut." " I will daddy, I love you." He hugs me tight and kisses my forehead." I love you too peanut." Then I hug my mom. "I'm gonna miss you squirt, I love you so much." " I'm gonna miss you too mom." We kiss each other on the cheek.

Mia is saying goodbye to her parents and I walk over to them, her dad gives me a stern look." You take care of my little girl." I smile back." I will, don't worry." He ruffles my hair then gives me a hug.

After we say goodbye we get in the moving van and head out to our new life in Columbus. We decided to leave my car and her truck in Youngstown since our apartment is so close to campus and shopping.

Columbus here we come!
