A Doom Permit

The woman walked back over to the cash desk, surprised to see Jessica there. "You're still here, actually got common sense have we?" the woman commented. Jessica wasn't sure about this, but she realised she had ****. "Whatever, just gimme the permit and I'll be on my way!" Jessica rudely responded, she folded her arms impatiently. "Calm down, you're so impatient!" The woman replied and she laid a card onto the table.

Jessica impatiently tapped her foot and kept glancing out of the window. "So this is the only one I could find unfortunately, it's a doom permit..." The woman told Jessica with a nervous tone, unsure how the reporter would react. "Oh for fucks sake!" Jessica slammed her hand on the cashier desk angrily. "I'm sorry this is all we have left for something this urgent." The woman explained, she held her hands out to try and calm Jessica down.

Jessica clenched her fist, an attempt to calm herself. "Okay.. it can't be too bad, right?" Jessica asked the woman nervously. "No it shouldn't be, I think I exaggerated doom permits a little bit earlier." The woman lied and reassured Jessica. The reporter smiled, satisifed with the response given. "Okay I'll take it." She said, not having much choice anyways.

The woman handed the card over to Jessica, who made a quick turn for the exit as soon as it landed in the palm of her hand. "Oh before you go!" The woman called out for Jessica, who turned and raised an eyebrow. "That one has alot of steps to it, on the back of the card is an address you've gotta go to and from there it should take you through the process I told you about earlier." The woman explained to Jessica.

Jessica looked at the woman, eyebrow still raised, and scoffed. "Yeah right..." She remarked with an eye roll and stepped back onto the street. The woman sighed, astonished by Jessica's ignorance. She reminded herself that Jessica was soon going to be punished for all the wrong doings she's done as a corrupt reporter...
