Dad's little lecture backfires

"Daddy, that's racist!" Madeline protested. "What are you trying to say, that all black men only want me for my body and that I shouldn't trust any of them for that? What about all the white boys who want to have sex with me; are you okay with that? I can go be a slut, as long as the dick I take isn't too dark?"

"Madeline, don't talk like that!" Peter scolded his daughter. "I guarantee those boys don't want to be just friends..."

"What about what I want, daddy?" the blonde pointed out. "What if I want to be more than friends with them, huh? What if I want to be with blacks as much as they want to be with me?"

"Oh, don't talk stupid, Maddy," Peter snapped as they turned into the driveway. "Why would a pretty little blonde girl like you settle for big black thugs when you can date a nice white boy?"

Madeline scowled at her father, enraged as his controlling yet dismissive behavior. The teen got out of the car, followed her father into the house, then stormed up the stairs and into her bedroom, slamming the door behind her. Peter stood in the doorway, sighing wearily as he realized he better go have a tender reconciliation with his daughter. He climbed the stairs and paused outside the door before knocking.

"Um, it's Maddy," he could hear his daughter saying nervously through the door, presumably on a phone. "I changed my mind... I'll do it... Yes, I'm sure... okay, see you tomorrow."

Peter waited a moment as fear settled into the pit of his stomach, then opened the door. Madeline was staring into her mirror, lost in reflection, a vacant and almost sorrowful look on her face. But when she saw the door open, she turned and smirked at her father.

"So, what's happening tomorrow, Maddy?" Peter asked, trying and failing to sound casual.

Madeline brushed a blonde lock from her face and put her hands on her hips, thrusting her chest forward defiantly. "Tomorrow is the day I'm going black, daddy."
